Hiawassee Mayor proposes digital billboard on Main Street
News, Politics November 28, 2018HIAWASSEE, Ga. – Weeks after a 45-day sign permit moratorium was enacted in Hiawassee, Mayor Liz Ordiales proposed the notion of allowing a digital LED billboard to be erected within the city limits. The multi-message sign would flash advertising promotions at eight-second intervals, intended for installation near the intersection of Main Street and Bell Creek Road.
The early November decision to temporarily halt permits within the city followed an amended ordinance by Towns County Commissioner Cliff Bradshaw, banning additional billboards from entering the area. On Oct. 29, Mayor Ordiales stated during the city’s work session, “It doesn’t make sense for the county to do one thing and (the city) to do another,” suggesting that Hiawassee would review the current sign mandate, inferring potential revision of the ordinance to coincide with county regulations.
The mayor’s proposal to permit a multi-message, digital billboard, however, is in direct contrast with the county’s mandate. Towns County strictly prohibits the signage in question, as does the City of Hiawassee ordinance, which is currently in effect.
Upon invitation by Ordiales, Terry Poteete – a Gwinnett County resident with Affordable Outdoor Advertising Solutions, and the owner of 85 billboards strewn throughout seven counties, including the 55-foot tall, four-faced billboard located across from McDonalds in Hiawassee – addressed the full council during Monday’s work session. Ordiales divulged that Poteete had broached replacement of the static billboard with a digital version in February, though due to the current ordinance restriction, the request was denied. Poteete purchased the existing billboards in 2012.

The overwhelming consenus from the numerous citizens in attendance at City Hall revealed blunt opposition to the concept. Residents expressed strong distaste by describing digital billboards with adjectives ranging from “annoying” to “hideous.”
The possibility of removing exisiting billboards to allow for the digital version was mentioned by Hiawassee City Attorney Thomas Mitchell. According to Mitchell, the Department of Transportation (DOT) guidelines list that digital billboards must be spaced further than 5000-feet apart in distance. State law allows for a second digital sign to be installed on the opposite side of the street, however.
Hiawassee City Council expressed conflicting opinions on the matter, with Nancy Noblet clearly favoring the idea from the councilwoman’s subjective standpoint. Anne Mitchell and Amy Barrett voiced sturdy opposition, with Barrett stating that digital billboards “degrade the integrity of the mountains.” True to form, council members Kris Berrong and Patsy Owens remained relatively silent on the issue.
A Town Hall meeting was suggested by Hiawassee City Council, aimed to gain additional resident input prior to taking the matter to vote, with no known date scheduled at the time of publication.
America Reeling

America is reeling under the continued onslaught and seemingly endless attacks on our culture, our
traditions, our elections and our laws by the Marxists Democrat party. How is it one wonders, that each
election where Democrat candidates fail to win, is deemed to be the fault of some Republican official or
laid at the feet of stupid white people who don’t know what’s best for them and voted the wrong way?
Their plan is a cunningly designed assault on the once considered fair election process to wear down
conservatives and cause Americans to lose so much trust in the process that they’ll just say, “to hell with
it!” and stay home on election days. That’s the aim of the Democrat Party, to achieve ultimate victory
without offering any plan that fits within the framework of the US Constitution. To constantly attack Trump,
Republicans and conservatives as the country’s main problem and its true failures is their constant goal.
‘How can American’s possibly be happy if some are more wealthy than others and the others are so poor
and destitute that they require government assistance?’ Let’s extrapolate that to: “why aren’t all
Americans provided living wage?” It’s the government’s responsibility to see that all its citizens are housed
and happy, free of health issues and fed, except veterans. Education is limited to what the government
thinks you need, not what you want. If the government can’t fund the benefits promised then the wealthy
can, so it becomes the government’s mission to redistribute their wealth by jacking up their “fair share.”
Like cancer in a living organism, the presence of Democrat polling and election officials almost surely
guarantees a predictable outcome. Voter count manipulation is rampant especially in Democrat controlled
urban centers. In some Philadelphia precincts for example, Democrat candidates swept 100% of the vote
count when in fact Conservatives complained they voted Republican and their votes were never reflected
in the count. A recount machine in Fl. overheated. That’s like saying the “dog ate my homework!”
Texas recently arrested a four or five member democrat voter fraud ring of election officials who face trial
and imprisonment. That’s only in Texas so far. In Broward Co., Fl., for some inexplicable reason, Brenda
Snipes, the supervisor of elections, previously cited for election irregularities has still retained her post
and is, once again charged with destroying ballots, stuffing rejected ballots into the uncounted pool and
other nefarious crimes that should have seen her jailed years ago. But, she’s black, she’s elderly and she
has a Ed.D as an educator and so therefore any attempt to remove her would be racist.
The Democrat party does not want a free and independent America and so it becomes imperative for
them to try to snatch governmental power away from that awful Donald Trump by hook or crook in order
to return to their already approved plan to reduce America to a third world nation status where people will
be required to live within the narrow confines of correct political think, like “Animal Farm.”
Our freedom is endangered and, if Obama’s plan to “fundamentally change America,” with or without him
at the helm continues, then we can expect Marxism to try to take sufficient hold of the reigns of
government and its institutions, that only a civil war could answer. Recall, the Dept. of Justice, the Internal
Revenue Service, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the State Department, were corrupted by the
Clintons and the levers of the tyrannical state were loosed on our populous by Obama. The reason they
did not succeed is because of Donald Trump. How do they answer? Ensure this doesn’t happen again by
taking over control of the election process. That’s what we are witnessing today in places like Florida,
Georgia and, I suspect, in Arizona as well. It’s why Scott Walker lost the governorship of Wisconsin and
many local elections fell into Democrat’s hands. It’s no longer politics as usual!
Democrats are not all omnipotent. They have their weaknesses like the aging leadership of Nancy Pelosi
and Chuckie Schumer so, there is some room for hope. Democrats face an uprising from the young super
Marxists gaining congressional seats and that will certainly stymie their aspirations for going after the
President. Too, many will face their own trial by fire when criminal grand jury inditement’s start rolling out
against them. We will wait and report while America reels in confusion.

5:00 am, 07 Nov 2018 – By now, most people are acquainted with national voting outcomes and realize
there was no wave, Red or Blue and American politics will remain a mishmash. Democrats regained the
House by 34, meaning two more years of stalemate. Republicans kept the Senate by increasing their hold
there by three. Missed by the media is that the candidates that Trump campaigned for all won. Trump
now will turn to the use of his veto pen. Military spending will slow, for two years at least, and spending for
illegals will be vetoed to death. It will be a wasted two years for Democrats, but the Judiciary will turn to its
original roots of strict constitutionalism. Watch Trump negotiate the art of the deal with Democrats.
Sorting out voting results for local and other state candidates and issues will take a while. That the US
House of Representatives slipped back into Democrat hands, while consistent with mid-presidential term
voting patterns, is still an issue that will ensure continued political conflict and an even wider divide
between Conservative and Socialist supporters of the direction America will take. Will this signal another
step toward a Venezuela and Cuba style life or a misstep of retaining Americans position as the worlds
economic and military steadying super power? Imagine, Nancy Pelosi once again as Speaker of the
House and that demented screeching mad Max(ine) Waters chairing the House Financial Committee. The
inmates are truly taking control of one wing of the asylum.
I lay the loss of the House of Representatives at the feet of Speaker Paul Ryan, a hopeless never
Trumper extrodinaire, whose lack-luster performance for supporting conservative trending Republican
candidates betrayed his desire for retaining a big government, ’business as usual,’ anybody but Trump
attitude. But, he’ll be gone soon and a rearrangement of the chairs on the Houses deck will commence
while the screaming Democrats start their inquisition trials against Trump and Kavanaugh. Wait for it.
Sadly, Scott Walker, three time winning Governor of Wisconsin, (don’t forget the recall) was outed by a
percentage point to Tony Evers, so watch as that state once again slips under the corrupt influence of
union thuggery. Kansas, whose Republican Attorney General, Kris Kobach, took a shot at the
Governorship lost to Democrat Laura Kelly, while Florida remained all “Red.” It is now safe for the DoJ to
indite losing Democrat candidate Andrew Gillum for his fraud crimes. California, under Gavin Newsom,
will continue to function as a pitiful example of Americas potential Venezuela outcome. Blackburn won the
Republican seat vacated by a RINO and McSally kept Arizona in GOP hands.
The good news is that most of the House Republicans whose seats were challenged and won by
Democrats, were Republicans who quit or retired leaving a vacant seat to be refilled. So be it! Most of the
emotional news worthy Senate contests fell favorably to Republicans, including Arizona, Texas. Democrat
Senators in battleground states who voted against Justice Kavanaugh, all lost and that includes
Missouri’s Macaskill. Michigan's splendid Republican candidate for Senate, West Point graduate and
combat veteran John James slipped below the waves, while a dead whorehouse owner in Nevada won
his House seat.
I’ll not continue with more election results because they’ll be all the news today. What I will say is that
America clearly stands at the edge of meaningless. The next several years will be a head butting contest
between a Constitutional, law abiding citizenry and Sanctuary City, open border loving Socialists.
What was revealed is that democrats gains came despite their having absolutely no program to run on
except “Impeach Trump.” The campaigns of Democrat candidates were all propaganda and fake news,
designed to move their candidate to the center politically, and avoid what they realize is a non-starter for
most Americans, the aura of being a true communist candidate.
Conservatives have two years to reconstruct their Congressional candidates to rid congress of the
remaining RINO’s. Pelosi, if she survives her own caucus, should be a boon to regaining the house in two
years.
For Republicans, cleansing the institutions charged with the education of America’s children in our nearly
totally corrupted colleges and universities, must become a priority. Challenging them directly won’t work but making them redundant can. Conservatives must also keep up their pursuit of the Black and Latino
voters and convince them to leave the Democrat plantation for conservatism where they can have the
opportunity to prosper. The next time I use the term “Republican” and don’t have to hold my breath doing
so, will be when conservatives predominate in the Congress, the Senate remains Republican and Trump
starts his second term.
Watch for the Left to reengage their shock-troops to hit the streets in support of any issue they think
necessary to boost their limited power and, their power is limited. The swelling sanctuary city rolls will
economically collapse those leftist governments that have abandoned the rule of law while anarchy will
sweep their streets when they run out of tax payer funds. Expect Paul Ryan to challenge Trump for
President in 2020 but first, he’ll have to nudge former Governor of Ohio, John Kasich, out of the way.
For the next few years, bipartisanship will be a nonstarter. We’re in for an interesting two years and
Conservatives have a lot of work to do so, we cannot lose faith, but get out there and get busy; continue
the attack on the idiots and idiocy of the Left.
Finally, the good news is that I can now have my e-mail back. Daily, and I suspect most of you also,
delete hundreds of pleas for donations, double donations, split donations and etc. especially from
democrats PAC’s whining about being stabbed in the back and etc.
Today is the first day of Trump’s campaign for re-election. He’s a winner so let’s find politicians who will
work with him.

Birth Rights, To Be or Not To Be?

The Democrat tergiversation of their once rock-solid position on illegal immigration and how to
protect our country from it is so shameful that it shocks the very foundations of our long and
respected adherence to republican constitutionalism. The shame! The Left isn’t shamed!
Good ol’ Harry Reid, the hypocrite, when he was Senate Majority Leader, once spoke out
eloquently on the subject saying that America had a duty to protect its borders and should do so
by changing the law to forbid the idea of anchor babies as legitimate American citizens as the
14th amendment was then, and still is, interpreted. “If you grant citizenship to children of parents
who have no lawful right to be in the United States, you’ll get more would-be parents attempting
to enter the United States unlawfully.” Thousands are approaching our border right now.
Harry even wrote a law for consideration. Reid’s 1993 proposal was intended to try to change
the meaning of the Fourteenth Amendment by an Act of Congress, i.e.: a law. The basis of
Reid’s proposal was to: “declare that any person born after the date of enactment of this title to
a mother who is neither a citizen of the United States nor admitted to the United States as a
lawful permanent resident, and which person is a national or citizen of another country of which
either of his or her natural parents is a national or citizen or is entitled upon application to
become a national or citizen of such country, shall be considered as born subject to the
jurisdiction of that foreign country and not subject to the jurisdiction of the United States within
the meaning of section 1 of such Article and shall therefore not be a citizen of the United States
or of any State solely by reason of physical presence within the United States at the moment of
birth.” Well, obviously that didn’t catch hold but, if it had it would have then presented another
problem for the flip-flopping Democrats, how to get rid of it.
Senator, Barak Obama, once defended actions that would deny America birthrights to children
of illegal gate crashers. Then he signed DACA. How do you spell hypocrisy? Democrat?
Trump tossed out a signal that he would cease the practice of legalizing anchor babies born in
America to illegal mothers by executive order and, predictably, the left and its media went nuts
again. Trump is trolling them and they rise to his bait. There is an old saying that cautions:
“Never argue with an idiot because he’ll drag you down to his level and beat you to death with
his experience.” That might as well be said for Donald Trump. Don’t try to argue with him or
match him in the field of hardball argument. You’ll lose and look stupid doing it.
One of the arguments now rising asks how Trump’s Supreme Court would handle this issue if
the Congress actually passed a law forbidding the legitimation of birthright babies as US
citizens. It is suggested they would take their good time in serious debate and consideration and
probably find the law unconstitutional. In fact, an 1800’s era Supreme Court actually did so. But,
as constitutionalists, we know that can change because we also know that Roe vs. Wade is
unconstitutional and will, hopefully someday soon, find itself on the ash heap of liberal mistakes.
I mean, murder is murder, isn’t it? How does a potential real US citizen have the opportunity to
experience the constitutional guarantees of Life, Liberty and pursuit of happiness if they are
shredded in the womb before they even have the chance to find out? Just asking!
The Supreme Court cannot change the Constitution, only the laws that do not fit within its
construct. But, neither can they legislate. That’s not their job. This issue highlights the problem
of judicial activism that is the real danger to America. Maybe we can kill two birds with one

The Ultimate Insult

It would please me no end to see Senate Judiciary chairman, Chuck Grassley, at the very
commencement of Thursdays extra-judicial hearing on the Kavanaugh confirmation to interview
Dr. Christine Bassey Ford, to publicly ask Senator Dianne Feinstein to immediately tender her
resignation from the committee by reason that she has lost the faith and trust of the Chairman,
and her continued presence would be inimical to the good order and discipline of the hearing.
It’s time for chairman Grassley to grab hold of this committee and run it like General Patton
would. Whether he realizes it or not, the political war between the Marxist Democrats and the
American Republic has been joined and because Trump has thrown a “monkey wrench” into
their expected America take-over plans, the battlefield has shifted dangerously to the judiciary.
Comity, statesmanship and fair play are unknown to Democrats so, neither should it be granted
to them. Whether the Democrats intended it at this time or not, Dianne Feinstein’s singular
attack against Trumps nominee to the Supreme Court, has launched a war that could soon get
completely out of control. This could be Grassley’s finest hour or his worst nightmare.
But imagine for a moment, the gasp of disbelief and total shock from Judiciary committee
Democrats, suddenly wondering how to quench the bleeding from Grassley’s stab wound.
All would be in chaos, Dr. Ford’s testimony would be forgotten or ignored, her attorney’s would
be stupefied, and then a call for a vote right then and there while the flood waters of panic
sweep over the Democrats would be a sight to behold. God, I would love to see that. It would
rejuvenate my faith in the GOP.
But, alas, it won’t happen! This is now a media event, a three ring circus led by MSNBC and
CNN, & New Yorker. I wonder if CNN and MSNBC, & et. al. realize they no longer have the
huge audience they once enjoyed? I also wonder who is paying for Dr. Ford’s high
maintenance attorney’s? Just asking! it would appear Grassley is going to allow Dr. Christine
Ford to testify, some day, Thursday probably, but if she perjury’s herself, who will know?
Democrats think Grassley is between a rock and a hard spot, feeling the heat for “fairness,”
something Democrats don’t practice while heaping the blame on his shoulders for the debacle
now unfolding. As I think on it, he should demand Feinstein’s resignation from the committee.
I had hoped that Grassley would announce that the committee vote would occur on Monday,
regardless. Suddenly ,Deep State RiNO’s like Jeff Flake, indicated he would probably not agree
meaning Kavanaugh could go to the floor without a committee endorsement. Won’t happen.
And what would Collins and Murkowski do? They all forget Americans voted for Trump so he
could put jurists like Kavanaugh on the bench, not dick around with “he said, she said” in-
actionable allegations. Probably, the most acceptable decision is to allow Dr. Ford to testify on
Thursday. Wednesday was offered but that wouldn’t do because we’re no longer concerned with
36 year old allegations, but obstruction and delay until the November elections.
Will Grassley and Mitchell capitulate? I have this sinking feeling in the pit of my stomach that
another Republican defeat is in the works. Will Grassley hold his ground like a good soldier, or
throw in the towel as Schumer expects he will do. First, demand Feinstein’s resignation. It’s the
very least he can do. Remember, freedom is the goal, the Constitution is the way. Now, go get

Making Choices

Every day, we all are faced with making choices. Some are automatic like a shave and shower
and tying our shoes, but the really hard ones, what to wear, what to have for breakfast and how
to avoid work that day, actually requires some thought process. Other are made easy for us like
the News Media that expects us to swallow what they tell us as the truth, even when it isn’t. Like
Pavlov's dog, they expect us to respond accordingly, so long as it advances the Left’s agenda.
Politically, the tawdry display by the degenerate Socialist party USA (Democrats) at this weeks
Kavanaugh confirmation hearings, including by two potential Democrat contenders for Trumps
job, both Marxists, is scary to even contemplate let alone consider seriously as even possible.
Two Democrat hopefuls for POTUS sitting on the Senate Judicial Committee, Cory Booker and
Kamala Harris, demonstrated their complete lack of comity, decency, integrity, respect, and
statesmanship to question their bonafides even to be US Senators. Both were incredibly
disrespectful with their constant ‘showboating’ interruptions, that, combined with the other
Socialist nimrods on the committee who behaved as disrespectfully, then our choices for
political leaders should be easy. Immediately Sen. Grassley opened the hearing, they came on
him like a swarm of locusts attacking a wheat field. What we saw was a Democrat version of
how ‘democracy’ should work. We do have choices, don’t we?
The Socialist Democrat party wants us to accept that America is a ‘democracy’ when it clearly is
not. The word Democracy is found nowhere in our Constitution. Presently, the deranged
socialists, still distraught that Trump beat Hillary for the grand prize, are now demanding a
referendum to change the election process for President from the Electoral to a popular vote.
That’s pure democracy, leadership by popular choice, follow the mob, do what the crowd wants,
“It’s what the people want!” Of course such a change would leave the selection of our President
forever in the hands of the illiterate, unwashed, illegal voters in America’s great sanctuary cities
and states like San Francisco, California, Portland Oregon, Seattle, Washington, Florida and
New York City, hot beds of progressivism, petri dishes in which foment the germs of Marxism.
If you watched any of the Democrat circus performance at the hearings of the Senate Judicial
Committee on the nomination of Judge Kavanaugh then, unless you are a complete Marxist in
heart, mind, body and soul, any thought of voting for any Democrat in this mid-term election,
should have been washed away. It’s a choice we have to make.
It turns out, and confirmed by Democrat Senator Dick Durbin no less, that the disruption of the
hearings had been indeed been orchestrated by Chuckie Schumer. Well, who would have
believed it? The spectators who trumpeted their orchestrated outrage and were dragged out
screaming their socialist nonsense, were there by invitation and required tickets to get in, issued
to them by Democrat Senators. When asked, Schumer said Democrats even wrestled over
staging a mass walkout on the Kavanaugh nomination hearing. Maybe they should have done it.
Isn’t it better to be thought a class of fools than stay there and remove all doubt?
What we see is that the Democrats cannot derail the Kavanaugh confirmation. He going to the
Supreme Court and they can’t stomach. Worse, they worry that Trump may get a third and even
a fourth choice during his remaining six years. I hope the Democrats choke on it. It’s our choice!

Short Takes – Mueller vs. Trump vs.the American Public, or Pipe Dreams?
Opinion May 21, 2018I never cease to be amazed at the crap the media feeds us including the opinions of journalists just barely able to peel bananas with their hands.The otiose schemes the deranged Left keeps pushing is the political danger to Pres. Trump should he fires Mueller. Oh, the humanity of it!
Well, let’s get on with it; watch where the smoke comes from then put out the fire. This wasted, year long Mueller drama which all but indites Hillary Clinton and her coterie of conspirators in the DOJ, the FBI, the IRS and the State Dept. as the true criminals, needs to be resolved and soon. The patience of the American voters who put Trump in office is growing thin. They will not abandon Trump when the real problems are so clear. Heads must roll and then we can heal the wounds,and work to return to a true constitutional republic like the founders envisioned.
“Is their a constitutional confrontation in the offing?” asks one headline. The article posits the notion that Mueller is nearly omnipotent in fighting crime and or evil and has the power and authority like a Grand Wizard, to demand the President of the United States present himself before a Grand Jury, presumably to arrange his public execution by burning at the stake. Right!
The article allows that the President has some outs like any other citizen, such as invoking his 5th amendment rights; that he can simply remove the Deputy. AG, who hired Mueller after Jeff Sessions abdicated his responsibility, daring to face the slings and arrows, that will come or, he could simply swat the Mueller nuisance away, de-fund the investigation and move on, a proposal most Americans really want. It reminds us that the president is not “above the law” but fails to warn us that Hillary Clinton, the corrupt James Comey, Loretta Lynch, et. al., are above the law. “Oh, the harm it would do to the FBI’s reputation..& etc., etc.” Well, the top management has been exposed as a nest of vipers and does need to be cleaned out, the sooner the better.
We know that the Supreme Court ruled that Nixon, who did have tapes and records, had to produce them as physical evidence. What does Trump have to produce he hasn’t already freely given? Nothing, so the hunt goes on until they find something. They can forget any more Stormy Daniels stories. No body cares. Bill Clinton saw to that. That’s old news. The issue behind the issues here is that the Democrats have no issues they can convince Americans to embrace other than the Obama socialist disaster that Trump is now happily discarding. They can run on no other issue except “hate Trump” because he beat ‘em soundly, leaving them bereft of power and like Biblical Moses, wandering aimlessly in the Sinai. Listening to the morose former House Speaker, Nancy Pelosi is evidence enough of that.
It’s in their best interests to attack Trump, in fact it’s their only interest if they dream of ever recapturing the Congress again but, I suspect “dreams” are not policies. Democrat dreams cannot possibly move or replace Trumps successes like his tax cuts, killing the regulation state, his rising employment and GDP numbers and low unemployment rates, ripping America away from stupid trade deals that have hurt us, and ignoring the pseudo science environmental nonsense that the left believes will empower them to create their ‘dreamed’ one world order to save the planet. More importantly, he’s not afraid to face off Iran, which is facing its own internal problems, and the North Korean dingbat who pushed himself onto the world stage as a nuclear competitor and now can’t let go. Trump, the protagonist, has challenged them all and they react as he has expected them to. The Democrats are in disarray, Iran has squandered the billions Obama gave him and are almost broke and Kim is in fear of losing it all by his over extension.

Obstructionist? Just Who is That?
The radical left media reports that Special Counsel Robert Muller, a former FBI Director and long time close friend and confident of recent former FBI Director James Comey, not finding any collusion, will now turn his sites on Trump for obstruction. That’s wishful thinking. They couldn’t affix any possible collusion between Trump and the Russians so they move to the next word in their vast vocabulary Sadly, the Republican Congress goes along with it. Go after the real crooks.
Mind that Mueller is a Special Council, not a Prosecutor so, before he launches any more attacks against our President, he had better turn his eyes first on the corrupt Dept. of Justice under the leadership of Loretta Lynch and her FBI Lackey, James Comey. Comey, under oath, admitted leaking a memo to the NYT. Problem is, no one has seen the memo(s) so they stand as “hear-say,’ but important to the left, none-the- less. That still marks Jim Comey as an obstructionist if not a liar.
The then US Attorney General, Loretta Lynch, after her exposure of a secret meeting with Bill Clinton on a tarmac in Phoenix, Az, instantly became both an obstructionist for Hillary Clinton’s crimes and, after her steely-eyed confrontation with Comey in her office, guilty of collusion as well. Will their crimes never cease? No, not until the swamp is drained, ergo, the attacks will continue. And they still think Trump is guilty of something impeachable.
This continued hounding of the President for alleged things he didn’t do represents the soft, politically driven effort to remove the hated Trump from office before he destroys everything they love. The losing Democrat party, now having no viable leadership, no message, and no single voice, still manage to scream their way into the news because the radical-left media, i.e.: the NYT and Washington Post among others, are now driving the anti-Trump Agenda.
For example, Obamacare is on it’s death bed. It’s unaffordable and unworkable, as it was intended to be, yet the obstructionists on the Democrat side of Congress claim the Republican Party will suffer terribly if they succeed in removing and replacing the Affordable Care Act, protection for millions of the formerly uninsurable. When a Democrat like Chuckie Schumer, and the media, tells us in heartfelt tones, what is good or bad for the Republican Party, then we instinctively know we’re listening to a desperate and lost cause.
Big legislative efforts like replacing the Obamacare and reforming the Tax Codes, are massive undertakings and much media attention, mostly negative, is devoted to them. Trump, owever, sometimes with the Republican Congress, and between his tweeting at windmills, is rapidly disassembling Obama’s obstructionist regulatory legacy and the Democrats can’t do anything about it. We don’t hear much about that in the media, do we?
The NY Times, the Washington Post, MSNBC, CNN and other leftist media sources, insist on trying to convince Americans they made a mistake in electing Trump. Other polls demonstrate the fallacy of their thinking. The people are not disturbed by Trumps tweets but support him totally. Daily, I get email requests from “traindemocrats.org” looking for signatures to petitions demanding Trumps Impeachment, & etc. while soliciting donations to their cause. These posts are disconsolate in their tone, hateful in their message and desperate in their need. We have ‘em on the ropes.

A Quickening!
America is facing a “Quickening,” a time of renewed enthusiasm, a warming toward a stolen America in danger of being lost and gone forever. Ever since the ascendency of the marxist infested Democrat party and the corrosive role it has played in American politics by its decades long hegemony over laws and policy, accelerated under the Presidency of Barack Obama, Americans have suffered a long period of lethargy when anything the socialist wanted they got, all in the name of being fair, the Constitution and the rule of law be damned.
Major political changes throughout the world are altering the dynamics of our own political discourse, realigning who will be our friends and foes and causing us to realize the common thread of most all governments, including our own, is that corruption is the new norm.
This important realization, that our own American government is riddled with corruption, as exemplified by the establishment elites who do not want to give up to the will of Americans, show that while voter loyalties are indeed changing, that entrenched criminality has its own limited shelf-life. It’s all coming apart, like Humpty-Dumpty and they can’t put it back together again. We, the citizens must do it. Hence, the election of Donald Trump.
Trump is as much a Republican as Bernie Sanders is a Democrat. Sanders hitched his star to an organization, the DNC, so corrupt, it wouldn’t even give him a fair chance at winning. Trump, on the other hand, with his populist message, “Drain the Swamp,” swept all the Republican elites away, then destroyed the Democrats. We are surely entering a “Quickening!”
That very fact reveals a lot about how much our political values have changed and how Americans are learning to separate truths from lies. It is a growing cadre of alarmed conservative activists (Tea Party) who are getting involved in the political process at the local levels while the disoriented and unconsolable minions of Socialism gathered together in the streets, clad in hoodies and face masks, intent on destroying anything and anybody who stands in their way and disagrees with them.
The media insists on polling voters in the vain hope Americans are disgusted with Donald Trump as they want us to see him. They are shocked to realize we are not so inclined, so they create false stories, legitimize lies and glorify innuendos as half-truths by breathlessly reporting on created issues sworn to by corrupt bureaucrats, the sole purpose of which is to stop Trump’s destruction of their corrupt empire by actually draining the swamp.
The attempted assassination of Republican Congressman, Steve Scalise, House majority whip by a well armed hater intent on killing Republicans, is a step in the direction I have warned about in numerous of theses timely essays, from protests to gunfire. Politics is getting nasty. The deranged Left is capable of murdering their opponents, like the Bolsheviks of old did, as today’s incident suggests. Consider the list of dead people in the wake of the Clintons for example. Throw in the dangers facing us from the embedded Islamic Jihadists elements in our society and once placid Americans will start figuring out they are the real targets, arm themselves and fight back. It’s a “Quickening” we’re in. Don’t doubt it.
America’s is only a shot away from a new civil war. Has that first shot now been taken? Maybe, if not, it’s getting closer and closer. Remember, freedom is the goal, the Constitution is the way.

SOTU 2019, The Fallout
“America never has been and never will be a “socialist country!” Yeah, “USA, USA, USA.”
For visuals, the Democrats sat on their hands and sulked. President Trump’s speech revealed a lot of truths to the eye of the beholder. His remarks were what conservative Americans wanted to hear because for two years, the president has kept his word, or has tried to while tDemocrats have only worked to obstruct him, not because of policy differences, but because it was Trump.
Not missed was the visual statement by Democrat female members of congress, including House Speaker Pelosi, all attired in white, that reminded me of pigeon droppings adorning the ground beneath a statue of Lenin. They made clear their point that they are socialist and want to make America socialist too. The only time they seriously became animated was when President Trump talked about the growing number of women in government, business, industry and politics, especially in the House of Representatives. Then they celebrated themselves.
For the next two years, the Congress will be in the hands of idiots.
The President cleverly celebrated as examples of true Americana, three World War II combat veterans, a couple of holocaust survivors, a shot up Border Patrol officer and a wee girl fighting cancer sitting with the First Lady in the gallery.
He specifically referred to Dachau, the Nazi’s first concentration camp near Munich which was liberated by American soldiers. The two holocaust survivors had to have been little boys when they were liberated and, at least, one had to have been a Jew. This was the Presidents forceful statement against the growing semitism in the United States abetted by the Socialists in the Democrat Party who fail to rail against it, favoring instead that Americans should accept Islam as a religion of peace. Those exact words weren’t used but the meaning was clear.
Of the most pressing issues facing America, how to stem the hoard of peasant invaders clambering at our southern borders to get in, Trump said a “wall will be built” but stopped short of declaring a national emergency. Why? because the disappointed Democrats were ready with instant law suits in the 9th District, to call a halt to any such national emergency. The president faces an option here as well. He could simply defund the 9th District Courts and let ‘em work on that while the wall is being built.
The issue of late term abortions, made legal in New York state and tried in Virginia apparently, were commented upon by the President demanding a Federal law that prohibits such monstrosities. Democrats for example took the Virginia Governors controversial pro late-term abortion comments out of the news by an attack on a black face and KKK photo. Now, we talk about that racist incident instead of the murders of live baby’s. Let’s not forget Kermit Gosnell, now in prison for life, for doing just that.
Foreign policy and wars were not neglected either. A government of business, must have wars to sustain its productivity. Trumps career was erecting buildings not blowing them down and he spoke to loss of treasure fighting such wars in the middle-east for two decades, that should come to an end. The political problems of a failed Socialist government in Venezuela, manifested by the mass exodus of citizens into neighboring countries, was also not ignored but a cautious approach helping its own citizens to overthrow the dictator Maduro, was implied.
During his speech his constant theme was “Choosing Greatness.” Trump raised five areas on which both Democrats and Republicans campaigned and should therefore find agreement, among which were jobs and fair trade, rebuilding the nation’s infrastructure, reducing the costs of healthcare and prescription drugs, creating a legal immigration system and pursuing a foreign policy agenda that “puts America’s interests first.” How can anyone object to that? Because its was a successful Donald Trump pushing Make America Great Again agenda.

Draining the Swamp

It’s sad to know that my lost faith in the GOP congress to make America great again was not
misplaced. Once again, having been knocked back into their familiar role as the losing boot
lickers they have become, content to sup on what the Democrats feed them, the remaining
House Republicans, as expected, have elevated a RINO into the minority leadership role to
continue the GOP’s groveling at the feet of Americas National Socialist Party.
Have the GOP members learned nothing? Are Americans to suffer the whining nonsense of
GOP congressmen making promises they won’t keep, or suffer two years of John Kasich trying
to become President so America can benefit from his version of “bipartisanship” with the devil?
It certainly looks that way. Are Republicans really the losers they appear to be? Probably!
This 2018 election had some surprises in it not generally recognized. For the Democrats, the
loudest winners are the new young Marxists like Alex Ocasio-Cortez, a poor rich girl, an
educated bartender but a demonstrably illiterate politician who doesn’t even know or understand
the main elements of her degree majors – economics and International relations. Yet she shouts
and screams idiocy demanding implementation of socialism for all and who, as the youngest
congressman ever, has become the darling of the liberal press. Gag reflex here!
What’s not reported is that many of the new Democrats campaigned as ‘moderates,’ easily
winning seats left vacant by the mass exodus of fearful RINO congressmen afraid of the Blue
wave that didn’t come, except for their seats simply because they were absent. That was an
exercise in draining the swamp par excellence Trump couldn’t count on it but came anyway.
What we are witnessing is a continued draining of the swamp as Trump promised. Draining
anything, especially a swamp, can be a slow, harrowing process especially when the outlets are
clogged by really stupid people who refuse to leave even in the face of insurmountable odds.
Americans want that swamp drained. No more business as usual.
The vast departure of RINO’s is actually a boon to the GOP in the long run. GOP Congressmen
who fail to support President Trump and his swamp draining effort, will soon find themselves
outside again. Eventually, the Jim Jordan’s will take over and the McCarthy’s, Scaliest’s and
Ryan’s, and other favorites of big business, will be subordinate to constitutional political reason.
The world has it’s leaders, many come from within political parties, some from the military. and
precious few from business. Presently, American politics is nearly bereft of any real leadership
except for President Trump who has become, by practice and deed, a leader among leaders.
Germany’s Merkel is on her way out after having polluted the entire European culture with the
followers of Mohammed. So is Britain’s Teressa May, not wanting to give up EU membership.
France’s Macron can’t last long either with the wealthy people leaving in droves, the Muslims
filling up the housing and Sharia suborning French laws.
America still has its leaders. But, many simply won’t apply when they know the crazed Marxist
Democrat Party will defame their names, defile their reputations and besmirch their honor, just
to keep America immobile and helpless before the storm. Contrary to the hopes of Mr. John
Kasich of Ohio, there can be no bipartisanship with evil. Politicians must decide if they will serve
as real statesmen, honest and true, or morph into the likes of Diane Feinstein, Chuckie
Schumer and Nancy Pelosi. They must have that chance anyway. Drain the damn swamp!

Myth’s, Illusions or Truths?

Most of our nation’s young people under the age of 30, are the products of some form of
government control. They enjoyed free meals at schools, health care, education, housing, etc..
The expected requirement of their acceptance was to obey teachers and school administrators.
The punishment that followed, if they deviated from the official dogma, was to be ostracized and
shamed. Through the collectivization of their thought process, they needed to only to know what
was taught to them and to ignore what they learn outside the school environment from their
parents, friends, relatives and Fox news. Attempts at original thought was/is discouraged.
Schools can’t proceed as they do without the political and financial support of politicians; the
very ones, the “Establishment Elites,” we are fighting today. It is they who organize the standard
dumb-down curriculum to ensure implementation of their socialist ideas without comment. All
propaganda and brainwashing. Don’t dare show up with a MAGA hat.
Unobstructed, politicians know that the more they lie the more we tend to believe them and
become more dependent on them. Without the constant barrage of propaganda, our attention
span would decline and they’ed lose control over our actions. The present predicament of the
Progressive sneaked up on ‘em and their supporters in the elections of 2012, 2014 and 2016.
The Democrat Elites lost control because believed their own nonsense and didn’t see the Trump
tidal wave coming. We see it often enough when we recognize otherwise smart folks acting
contrary to their own best interests without a second thought. That’s the power of propaganda
but, it must be a continuous daily drumming on the listeners’ senses if it is to stick!
Trump, like a breeze of fresh air, beyond all possible reasoning of media ‘pundents,’ confronted
them with a serious challenge to their belief system and their minds closed tight, because,
without a script or a firm belief that their dumbing down of the populous has really worked, they
don’t know what to do. Witness Sen. Elizabeth, the Indian Princess. Her defense of her
Pocahontas DNA tests was a fraud. That wee drop of native blood she says she has comes
from South America, from an illegal no doubt. Trump trolled her and, like a slippery fish bent on
absolution, she rose to the bait and now looks like a complete fool. It’s exactly the same for silly
Hillary who thinks she and Bill can tour the country, at $1000.00 a head, and draw the big
crowds like Trump does.
When challenged, progressives immediately go into avoidance behavior. They scream, holler or
’PooPoo’ the challenge as a “Vast Right-Wing conspiracy,” label it as stupid and unworkable and
move on to the next subject threatening dire punishment for any who dare question their truth.
Alinskites know that organized and sophisticated propaganda operates outside the normal level
of intelligence. So, without some reason to ask questions, as many intelligent people don’t, they
accept the lies and myths the same as the mass general population. Repeated often enough,
the propaganda then becomes conventional wisdom because, we rarely accept challenges to
conventional wisdom. Once belittled, it’s never considered again. Here is where they ignore
facts even when those facts support contrary knowledge, and embrace “stupid.”
When do myths, used to persuade people, become dangerous? When the people accept them
as ‘benefits. That’s the power of propaganda. Losing an illusion actually makes us wiser than
finding a truth.

Regurgitated Nonsense
Well, I suppose it’s safe to scratch off Buzz-Feed as a reliable source of insider information on the Washington DC political scene. They now rank right up there with CNN, MSNBC, et. al.: as organs of fake news dedicated to only one thing, saving the Democrat party and its socialist agenda by eliminating the killer virus that is choking them to death, Donald Trump.
I’m surprised Mueller himself immediately debunked the Buzz-Feed story about the President directing his lawyer, Michael Cohen, to like to Congress and I suspect a rat here somewhere. That caught the Left-wing media totally by surprise. They changed their talking points to “what ifs” and rephrased their words to fool us, they think, into believing there was still a chance to find some tawdry evidence that could finally impeach Trump. That’s the face of desperation.
The demented talking heads of the left wing-media will, at any hint of a possible scandal, breath life into it in the vain hopes that they will expose some measure of truth that will grow into a scandal and end Trump’s presidency. Buzz-Feed tried to fulfill that mission and has now elevated itself to the highest level of distrust. By breathlessly publishing this false story without fact checking has rendered it as untrustworthy. For any group that pretends to be an objective reporting organ, to not even bother considering the “Red Flags” that identify fake news, seals the deal on their irrelevance. Now, anything they publish will be suspect!
The media, morally and ethically challenged, considers us to be politically irrelevant. They don’t really care what they say just so long as some of it sticks, somewhere. If they all say the same thing, then it must be true! Indeed, they believe their own copy and have thrown all standards aside in their singular, unquenchable desire to bring down Donald Trump.
Inherent in this daily assault of fake news is the primary goal of the Democrat-Socialists, the neutering of America’s heritage, culture and traditions for the sake of “diversity, multiculturalism and, truth be told, the elimination of all vestiges of influence of the European white male.
Consider the wall President Trump wants to build on our southern border. Under Obama, all the Democrats demanded it. Videos of their earnest desire to protect America from invasion by illegals are all over the internet. So what does the media do, ignore the historical past, focuses on the immediate future and whines about poor illegals and unemployed non-essential federal government employees, without a cent for the protective barrier we all wanted, once.
The media is all in on tooting the Democrats horn on policies that ignore Americas Vet’s, it’s tax payers, it producers and citizens of long standing, all for the sake of spending vast amounts of treasure to sustain people who don’t belong here simply because their presence gives them a humanitarian claim to feast at the trough of public assistance. When will the money run out?
The anti-Trump media, keen to be first to bring down the President, seems destructively eager to seize upon any and every rumor and regurgitate it out as factual truths. This time Buzz-Feed and the regurgitator’s got their fingers caught in a trap. Even Chris Wallace, on today’s Sunday Fox news, brought up the issue with Vice President Pence, apparently to achieve a “gotcha” comment. If Mueller already debunked the Buzz-Feed report, why didn’t the VP just say, “Why are we even talking about that issue Chris? It’s dead!” Well, its simply to keep it alive through one more news cycle. Chris Wallace, to be fair and balanced, just regurgitated leftist nonsense.

Kasich’s Attacks Continue

A perennial GOP wanna-be presidential hopeful, John Kasich tells us: “Every day there is chaos coming
out of Washington and the Trump White House. It’s diminishing our American values, threatening our
international alliances and resulting in few policy accomplishments for the American people. Enough is
enough. It’s time for us all – as Americans to put aside the party politics and work together to face our
greatest challenges.”
I want to try to decipher what the estimable John Kasich thinks he means: First, “chaos” is a word which,
in its negative connotation, basically describes the violent collapse of societies. Now, only the Democrats
are in a state of violent hysterical collapse. But, once started, lurking within its violence, old scores are
settled, revenge meted out, hatreds revealed and destruction of property becomes the rule of the day.
Actually, Chaos is anarchy as Kasich sees it but we’re not there yet, except Portland and Baltimore.
Chaos is part of the necessary cleansing feature when societies attempt to reestablish order and
authority. I didn’t say ‘lawful order’ because as we learned from Lenin’s Bolshevik revolution that
overthrew Czarist Russia and the National Socialists that suborned then lawfully displace the decrepit
Weirder Republic of post WW1 Germany, we see two examples of Socialism’s chaotic roadmap to
achieve leadership by tyranny. Excuses for these revolutions will vary.
Kasich say’s the “chaos” comes out of Washington and the White House. Washington is a broad brush
word that covers a multitude of sins but, by saying ‘White House,’ he directly means president Trump.
Kasich hates President Trump because of Trumps accomplishes and, he’s mean. By Trump’s frontal
attacks against the open enemies of American, the socialist embedded within the Democrat party and the
their policies that fail the test of Constitutionalism, reveals the real chaos Kasich talks about. Trump has
been a huge success. John Kasich, nor any other Republican, could never do that. Kasich is part of the
problem, a uni-party deep-state advocate.
John K. believes the ‘chaos’ he mentions is “diminishing our American values.” Well, what are those
American values he envisions? I don’t know but, clearly the voters who put Trump in office wanted a
restoration of our liberties, and a reduction of Obama’s onerous and economically regulation state that
nearly crushed American progress under the heels of totalitarian incompetency where nothing works but
government. Trump has done that!
John also said: Trump “was threatening our international alliances resulting in few policy
accomplishments by the American people.” First, what foreign policy accomplishment did Obama make?
Actually, there’s not enough space left here to list Trump’s accomplishments. In only two years he has
eliminated NAFTA and the TPP, challenged China’s economic espionage, confronted our disjointed
immigration polices, and did so by using means that remain mysteries to the likes of politicians like John
Kasich. John wants us to “put aside party politics (and) work together to face our greatest challenges.”
That’s an easy one. As I see it, we have two competing policies, one of good and one of evil. What John
means here is “bipartisanship” by which definition Democrats means we capitulate to them, always.
What are our “greatest challenges?” Well, people like Kasich is a good example of a pitiful challenge, but
restoring America constitutionalism, the rule of law, removing the corruptive issues of big money, re-
establishing trust in the election process and cleansing out the RiNO’s still sucking the life blood out of the
party is really our biggest challenge, John doesn’t think so. He wants to save it.
Locally, here in my county in Georgia’s 9th congressional district, my sources tell me of troubles in our
once solid Republican party. “The recent meetings of the local GOP, he said, reflect the disunity of the
Republican party nationally, with internal accusations of who’s doing the most to support our elections,
etc. They’re the same few folks at the party meeting (locally)…maybe 10 of the old guard…while the local
Democratic party is growing and seems enthusiastic. I have no doubt that Georgia will be “blue” after the next state-wide elections, even without the current vote maneuvering.” Continuing, he said: “Someone
mentioned a while back that the Republican lawmakers really don’t care who controls the legislative
branches of government; they each have their funding sources and will play to those interests to keep
their positions….or if they have enough time in service, will retire and become a lobbyist.” And that my friends highlights our biggest problem. We have too many professional politicians, citizens who made
promises to get elected, then succumbed to the corrupted call of easy money to join the ranks of the
disciples of the “deep state.”
Politics should not be a career profession and John Kasich, in his pleading diatribe against Donald Trump
should realize that and go run a lawn and garden center somewhere where manure speak is understood
and acceptable. In the end, John Kasich is a “squabbler” not a fighter. He can’t compare with Trump in
real competition with America’s enemies or match Trump’s accomplishments.
Finally, this from a fan in Nevada: “Damn Republicans want to be known as “gentlemen” and have no
balls. When ignorant idiots like Crooked Hillary, Pelosi, Chuckie, and of course, Maxine Waters make
stupid statements the RNC should run commercials non-stop showing how truly ignorant and out of touch
with reality they are. But the RNC, which is always chaired by a spineless jerk will never do so as they
have no guts to do so. Fight fire with fire I say. Will never happen.”
President Harry Truman said: “Give it to them hard and straight and they’ll remember you!”
