The Readjustment Will Be Painful
We’re in for a rough ride in the next few years readjusting ourselves, as a democratic country,
from our experiment with Socialism to a return to the representative government our
Constitution demands. Competing forces are tearing us apart. Thank a Democrat.
The war cycles are converging; the economic cycles are converging and the demise of the long
established welfare state, gifted to us by decades of Democrat control of tax payer dollars, is
facing its own end of cycle. President Trump is doing what he promised he would do and it’s
painful to the “Establishment.”
When I say welfare cycle, I especially include the billions of tax payer dollars gifted to the NFL in
tax breaks over the years based on the demonstrably false pretext that new stadiums in major
cities would be economically healthy for those communities. The money making NFL is taking a
soon to be unbearable financial hit against their incomes. Supporting politically correct stands
for team “unity,” by mostly over paid, nearly illiterate black players refusing to pay due respect to
to America’s traditions, also on false pretexts, has rilled the middle Americans that have
supported them. I think the NFL has miscalculated their business model.
What we have here is one race, blacks, finding an opening through which they can attempt to
dominate America’s other races, on the pretext they are still the victims of what slavery from
over two hundred years ago, is still doing to them. The black dominance in the NFL and NBA
have made them believe they can in fact, achieve political dominance as well, or, so that’s what
the race grifters have told them. Being overpaid, highly praised athletes, has convinced them to
push anti-Americanism into the face of their fans. The envelope of their personal incompetence
that justifies their massive salaries, is exposed. Tell that to a combat infantryman in Iraq.
What about slavery? Talented young black players annually come to the NFL’s auction block in
bids for their skills. Like the gladiators of Roman times, once bought, they are expected to suit
up, enter the arena and demonstrate their talents, and they get paid big money for it. Roman
gladiators, if they didn’t get killed outright, didn’t do too bad either, in their day.
Did you know the NFL League owners voted to move the Oakland Raiders to Las Vegas? Did
you know the Las Vegas citizenry said “No Thanks” to building them a shiny new stadium? Did
you know that this very Sunday, (01Oct17), the black team members of the NFL’s Oakland
Raider’s, punishing their white quarterback for refusing to “take the knee” with them, allowed
him to be sacked multiple times, hiked the ball out of cadence breaking up the plays, and that
receivers dropped his passes multiple times that, in effect, threw the game?
After Sunday’s mass murder in Las Vegas, does the NFL really believe they can get the tax
payer money needed to build a stadium? I don’t reckon that will work, do you? In fact, I think
that if anyone has investments in anything associated with the NFL or NBA, might start
reconsidering their investment portfolio before the awful cycle of collapse hits them as well.
The Indianapolis Colts have doubled down on supporting team ‘unity’ and will continue the
practice of “taking a knee.” Colts team owner Jim Irsay, publicly said: “Our players are hurting,
our people are hurting, our neighborhoods are hurting, and kneeling was a direct response to
that.” The logical question is: Hurting from what? Things are changing and rapidly. The status
quo no longer applies so get ready.

The decline of America’s two political parties is not a surprise. They have cheated America’s voters leaving them searching for Constitutional alternatives. The GOP’s abdication of its conservative principles presents a signal problem that can no longer be ignored; problems that voters saw coming and attempted to fix in 2012, 2014 and 2016, without success, is evidence enough that the GOP is broken and represents nobody except themselves. They don’t want to do anything lest they rock the boat and lose favor with their money suppliers and the media. The GOP has clearly abdicated its role as America’s conservative party. In other words, there isn’t one any more. They GOP elites didn’t get the message.
The Marxist controlled Democrat party holds no effective power in government except to act as obstructionists. Their leadership is composed of geriatric, old Marxists and Progressives, products of the 1960’s anti-Vietnam war era, still searching for the magic formula that will enable them to complete their socialization America, interrupted by Donald Trump. Count them gone.
For Conservatives, the Republican party has long claimed they held the key to salvation until we learned, and are still learning, that they are in fact liars, cheats and shills for big government and the cash that flows from it. There are some serious exceptions like David Perdue, Tom Cotton, Mike Lee and maybe even Tom Cruz. The party has more than its share of treacherous villains like the unprincipled John McCain and feckless leftist, Susan Collins among others, who join the Democrats in obstructing the Conservative agenda, that Donald Trump seized and gave voice to the deep concerns of many Americans about the direction the socialists were taking America.
How do we solve the problem? A new party? Nope! No matter what it’s called a new party will simply not work. The Libertarians have been out there for years and have not advanced above the popularity level they first achieved since the beginning. I agree they are Constitutional conservatives, with exceptions, and it’s those exceptions that have them stalled in third place.
The only course available for conservative Republicans, independents and Democrats alarmed at the deceit of the Ruling Caste, is to replace the old GOP, member by member, in primary challenges by conservative candidates until the whole rotten GOP house of cards collapses.
Why? Because that’s where the money is. That’s where the donations come to, that’s the crucible of corruption, that’s the seat of power and that’s the swamp Trump wants to drain. It must be done and it can’t be done from outside. The formation of new parties with their petty individual demands, would turn America into a squabbling cacophony of incompetent, third rate politicians, a mirror image example of the socialist European Union, especially Germany.
Conservative Americans want a return of their personal liberty and respect for their individual achievements. The GOP is not giving it, but Trump is. He has identified several issues that will restore those lost liberties: eliminating Obama’s regulatory state, cutting taxes, creating jobs, enforcing immigration laws, and attempting to fix the Republican healthcare fiasco. Trump is trying to reshape policy in these areas, as Americans want. Apparently the GOP won’t help but insist that they, acting as our ruling class, are too important to be removed.
Trump’s success will positively impact America for generations to come. Can there be a constitutional renewal in America? Not if our betters have anything to say about it. It’s time to replace them. Political Correctness is Devouring Britain
The headline: “It Is Possible The Motive Of The Latest London Subway Bombing May Never Be Known.” This after the bombing attempt aboard a London commuter train last week that injured twenty-nine riders. It’s a stupid comment and reflects an exercise in official denial. Of course we know the motive for the attack. It’s another attempt by Islamic Jihadists, to propagate the faith through fear. The attackers, now in custody, have simply followed the demands written in the Koran (Qur’an) by a camel jockey named Mohammed, who fancied himself a ‘prophet’ of God and who would gladly cut your head off if you disagreed with him. Now, his followers will gladly do it for him. Good ol’’ “Mo” used a sword. This current lot have planes, cars and bombs.
The muslim mayor of London, responding to a Trump Tweet on the subject Tweeted: “Trumps ignorant view of Islam could make both our countries less safe. It risks alienating mainstream muslims. London has proved him (Trump) wrong.” Everything here is denial. The London Police know exactly what the motive is but political correctness is preventing them from saving the UK from the barbaric ravages of the followers of this 7th Century inbred. The Mayor mentioned risking alienating muslims…well, no, I don’t think so. To be alienated, one must have wanted to assimilate with his new culture, not come ready to destroy it. They are already alienated by the Koran they read. There can be no moderate muslims, only inactive ones waiting to be activated.
For some reason the British government has cast off any pretense of preserving democracy, British law and culture. Even their famous dedication to free speech is in peril, all to rush headlong into Islamic appeasement in fear of having their own heads cut off. Is it a guilt trip from decades of colonialism that demands British officials invite the desert denizens of Islam and Shariah law, to their “Scepter’d Isle”, the uncivilized third world creatures with barbaric concepts, wanting to establish a ”Caliphate,” by fear or force if necessary, in the home country?
An overabundance of third world inbreds, lacking any of the modern social refinements gifted to them by a Colonial Britain, have come here to replace British culture and law’s, and rewrite Britain’s contribution to western civilization. They accomplish this by demanding acceptance through fear, of their ignorant and base barbaric laws that are polar opposites to British culture.
Colonialism, its negative effects aside, still improved these people’s lives and left them far better off than they ever were under the Ottoman Turks, waring princelings, religious war lords and local tribal despots. Britain brought order, stability and even the rule of law to Asia and Africa, and it has all been rejected for barbarism.
Free speech in Great Britain is now being criminalized. Leftists are saying that free speech (by native Britain’s) is promoting extreme stress and discomfort among immigrants, a negative trait that should be controlled. A Leftist Canadian professor of psychology, Lisa Feldman Barrett claims: If words can cause stress, and if prolonged stress can cause physical harm, then it seems that speech — at least certain types of speech (anti-Islamic) — can be forced out of the public discourse. The Left takes her at her word and the cry of “Islamaphobe, racist and hater” quickly drives the offender into the arms of the law.
The London Mayor, is an Islamic and naturally defensive of gains Islam has made in Great Britain. Those gains are protected by a bodyguard of lies, employing even non muslims, i.e.: politicians, courts and policemen to force general compliance to Islam’s dictates. The British had best comply with the subjugation now under way of face jail. It’s as simple as that.

The Face of Radicalism

The Democrat party has gone all in for stupid, as in openly promoting socialism for America that
we can already see disintegrating right before our eyes in Venezuela. They are still hell bent on
“change we can believe in,” using radicalism as their tool. Americas growing economy, its low
unemployment levels, new job hirings and lower tax rates are denied by the radical Democrats.
They can’t come to grips with it because the new Democrats, like AOC, have never experienced
the robust economy that capitalism brings. The words that fall from Comrade AOC’s lips are
evidence enough to show the differences. What do they want? Socialism!!!!
For New York States hand-clapping Democrat politicians, radicals all, comforted by their new
law that legitimizes murdering newborn babies. The horror of that was followed by the
Democrat Va. Governor, a medical doctor, explaining in detail how it’s done. Now, the
Commonwealth of Mass. wants to follow their brethren radicals in doing the same thing. I even
hear a couple other states on the east coast have indicated a desire to be baby murders.
Comrade Ocasio-Cortez, who launched a millennial version of the Communist Manifesto in her
idiotic Green New Deal scheme, is blamed for Amazon pulling out of its New York deal to
establish a second Hq. there. To be fair, Comrade AOC might be the face that launched a
thousand stupid ideas, but Amazon’s leaving NYC was not one of them. She cheer leaded of
course, but It was in fact, an unimportant local NYC socialist radical politician who had veto
power over site selection, who chose to exercise that power, and did just that.
Disgusted, Amazon said “Adios” and with the snap of the fingers, thousands of potential jobs
were lost, the potential billions in lost taxes by company and employee income, vanished in an
instant and there sits NYC Mayor De Blasio and NY’s Governor Cuomo, wondering what just
happened. Tax payers are fleeing NY and they still allowed radicals to reconfigure the tax base.
The bright light of Socialism is blinding. It attracts only moths, bugs and millinials. We see
further evidence of this with the line-up of new Democrat presidential hopefuls hedging their
bets on promoting AOC’s Green schemes to other than their like minded audiences. New York,
like California, is full of ‘em so, we might be in trouble.
What makes the Democrats look like the stupid party they are becoming is that their socialist
expectations are being ridiculed by President Trump who is far more skillful as a communicator
than any of them are. Democrat talking heads who rush to a microphone to warn Trump and
Republicans not to do what their going to do, are delusional. Trumps base revels in his political
attacks, his personal ridicule, and his unfiltered comments. His style of pushing his agenda is
unknown to them and they are left flummoxed by the experience.
Potential socialist aspirant to the Presidency, Sen. Cory Booker, and Kamala Harris for that
matter, claim “the economy is not working for working people.” Booker claims the nation needs
to change course so “parents can put food on the table” and, “no one is left behind.” The
Democrats simply cannot, and will not, admit the inconvenient truth that Trumps economic
policies are in fact, benefitting Americas working people and, their ideas did not.
We can’t stop there, Comrade Cortez’s Green New Deal, is itself a grand hoax that seventy
Democrats signed unto before reading it. They didn’t need to read it because it’s purpose is
clear: this hoax targets their progressive base to Get Out the Vote. Like Obamas affordable
Health Care fiasco, no one asked how it was going to work. It was simply said: “We have to vote
on it to see what’s in it.” Unfortunately, silly AOC exposed her scheme’s contents before voting
and the whole world is laughing. “It was taken out of context.” No, it wasn’t. Speech can be
taken out of context, not the printed word. AOC has to own it as do the seventy odd Democrats
who signed on to it immediately it was made public. That’s the party of Stupid in full flower.
Consider, if Democrats today are voting to murder babies and want the rest of us to believe its a
good thing to do, then, should gain ultimate power being as radical as they have become, what
will stop them from shooting protesters down on the streets of America, as all totalitarian
regimes do when they feel threatened? Once again, we need look no further than Venezuela.
If they gain that power, they will try to disarm us. But, It won’t work. It isn’t prudent!
We have already seen masked, black-clad radicals on the streets of Portland, Oregon assuming
they can dictate to passing motorists where they must drive simply because they say so while
no police are in the area having been ordered by their Radical Mayor cum police commissioner,
a full-fledged Bolshevik, to stand down.
Decent people and tourists are fleeing these enclaves of Socialist dementia, like New York and
San Francisco because radical socialism tolerates the worst in people and protects them from
any hint of morality from an outraged society. One day, that outrage will boil over.
Here’s a final idea. Instead of murdering new born babies who should replenish the worker base
of our society and eliminate the need of importing third world laborers, let’s gather up the drug
and alcohol besotted cretins that sprawl on the streets of San Francisco and other cities, and
abort them. Nobody would care, there would be no economic loss to society, except the savings
not wasted on their welfare, and the streets of our cities could become sanitized and clean
again and good order and discipline would return to a safe and moral society.
We can thank the Alexander Ocasio-Cortez’s of America, well, let’s admit it, the Democrat
Parrty, for bringing our nation down to a new disgusting low. What’s left? We can only go up.

Independence Day, Can We Keep It?
As Americans, we see that the focus of the rising tempo of incivility in our public discourse has moved from politics to issues of culture and we must ask why? Well, it’s because for America, the political arguments have already been settled although one side won’t admit it. It’s settled because of our Constitution which gives us our inalienable rights. The defense of that document has risen exponentially to the assault on it.
The great struggle now, between constitutionalists and the marxists has morphed into the cultural arena that avoids the distasteful facts of logic, truths and law, those trivial little items that impede their move to socialism. Its tenants, protected by “political correctness,” allows PC proponents to range widely in their destructive process of changing America’s culture, if not its laws, before the people could catch on. It almost worked, then along came Trump!
Political Correctness is the hand-maiden of diversity, multiculturalism, socialism, fascism and communism. It is the vehicle used to change our cultural norms. For example, once, the important emphasis taught in school was on the proper use of the English language. After the Civil Rights law era, It was abandoned as a requirement specifically because of diversity, inclusiveness and multiculturalism. Some couldn’t or wouldn’t understand it. Today, our language is a mishmash of Babel. That’s only one aspect of the Lefts hidden attack on Americas exceptionalism. If they can’t read or write, they’re going nowhere. That applies to all races.
Political correctness requires no authority. it survives on the precept of exclusion and fear. It exists solely on what “group think” determines to be correct and uses the power of the mob, whether its the media or the Hollywood Leftists, or the street thugs like Antifa and BLM, to challenge, almost daily, our Presidents authority. It is this fear that keeps us everyday, working class Americans in check because our side doesn’t do what they do. We are constitutionalists and expect the rule of law to function. We relay on debate and persuasion to make our choices and we are not prepared, yet, to bash heads
For the Left, political correctness denies the “free exercise clause” unless it’s for them alone. That requires disciplined adherence to group think or blind allegiance, and to disagree with them, is to invite the wrath of the Lefts public approbation like the rejection Kayne West is now experiencing for his apostasy.
The theater of the street, now extended into the dining rooms of public restaurants, has become the stage for the Lefts threatening noisy attacks on constitutionality and civility. Screaming over the objections of others and drowning out other opinions is the Lefts only way to stay relevant. They intend to paralyze the process by division and political polarization and until Trump, they were succeeding. That being the case, how does the once successful union of American politics and culture survive in the future? Apparently it won’t. The Left is engaged in an all or nothing battle to kill our independence and move us into the common ranks of a one world government.
To be in politics is because those are paying jobs, even if it costs more to get the job then the job pays. There’s a contradiction there, surely? But, with the job however, comes the reward of legitimate authority, until the next election. Since the authority gifted by elections is essential to the Lefts agenda, they will take all steps necessary to ensure the Left does not lose those elections. So far, it’s not workings quite well as as they had hoped. It’s our Independence day, not theirs. So enjoy it. It’s Independence Day, not July 4th. Let’s try to keep it.

Where We’re Going
It now stands without question, after James Clappers admission under the withering tongue blathering he received from that pillar of elite intellectual liberalism, Joy Behar on the “View,” that he, James Clapper and John Brennen, heads of their respective spy agencies, conspired with the FBI’s Comey, to spy on the Donald Trump campaign (Watergate x ten). The genesis for this seditious activity is simply that the criminal Hillary Clinton, lost the prize to Donald Trump. That loss left the doors open and the chickens are fleeing the roost.
Democrats truly believe that Donald Trump is a clear and present danger to (their) America and “resistance” to him is absolutely necessary. It’s “all hands to the oars,” that sort of thing. It’s amazing to see how fast their cunningly crafted house of cards is collapsing under Trump’s refusal to be bullied like any normal Republican would. They’ve become deranged at Trump’s success, befuddled by their failures to bring him down and distraught they cannot counter his successes. They are bereft of any arguments, plans or policies that would benefit America. That is why they cling to their foolish notions of a Trump-Russian collusion. But, it’s OK they did it!
Now their ‘resistance’ has passed far beyond simple dissent, it’s sedition; It’s not disagreement, it’s total hatred. We can hate the Democrats. We can suspect it’s they who are the worst thing happening to America, but we can’t work with them because they don’t play by the rules. They created their own rules that voters have rejected and, when they consistently reject the results of elections they don’t win, then all that’s left is the potential for anarchy.
Democrats have ruled for so long that they see themselves as the only legitimate power in the country. Whenever Republicans exercise power, as Trump is doing, it’s illegitimate and he faces the consequences of Impeachment. When Obama did the same things, he was praised for his brilliant leadership. The double standards there are choking, but Democrats, supported by their propaganda machine, the mainstream media, are never affected. Forget it, let’s move on.
What prompted this essay is the clumsiness of James Clapper to keep his stories straight, and the near violent reactions of John Brennan to the demands for the release of documents from the FBI and DoJ to the Congress that demands them. Brennan is near apoplectic in his reactions. Clapper and Brennan, as heads of their respective spy agencies, according to Clapper on the “View,” did spy on the Trump campaign. That’s one chicken out of the roost. There is no possible excuse or subterfuge that can obscure their treasonous act(s).
Their problem was, they failed to use the professionals in their agencies to do the dirty work relying instead on a host of foreigners, democrat office workers, in house savants of the FBI and the compliant media to protect their backs, by clouding the issues and promote their lies. Federal bureau heads seem to screw up simple operations, making mistakes the professionals under them would never make. To coin an old phrase, C,C. & B. “let the cat out of the bag.”
Republicans now hold the reins of complete power, and don’t know what to do. But, what do the Democrats do? They set about, right or wrong, obstructing Trumps initiatives trying to save Obama’s agenda through the federal courts and what’s left of their bureaucratic deep state. When a federal judge issues an order telling the President of the United States he cannot perform this or that function, then that’s like the first guns fired at Ft. Sumpter. Has it started? Yes it has, but a long time ago. It could get very messy now. We must be prepared.

Short Takes – Is a Cataclysm Coming?

The answer depends on what drives ones personal social, religious or economic opinion. One media source warns of a coming war and asks should we be concerned? We’re already at war.
Other sources warns that the government is poised to seize all our bank savings and we should convert to gold, while yet other sources warn of Biblical prophecy coming together as a precursor to Armageddon and the second coming of Jesus. Oh, my! So much to worry about.
Currently newsworthy is the Democrats hysteria over Trumps cancellation of talks with Kim Jong Un. The media screams Donald Trump “was forced to cancel” talks with Kim Jong Un and by extension, Trump, failing to follow the norms used by previous Presidents when dealing with North Korea (capitulation), then all is lost, Trump is incompetent and war is inevitable.
Well, no, Trump wasn’t ‘forced’ to cancel anything. Initially, Trump seized an opportunity to pin Kim against the wall when he accepted Kim’s suggestion for a”summit.” It will only be a surprise to politicians who have no clue about how a poverty stricken, brutal Stalinist regime that is North Korea, operates when squeezing the “West” for sustenance. They have followed their same format for sixty years and Trump called them on it. Even now, Kim is begging for a resumption of the talks. Kim is caught between a rock and a hard spot.
Unknown to the Democrats is Trump’s mastery of the art of persuasion. Trump is not a politician, he’s a doer and whether one negotiates with despots like Kim or for bank loans, the tactics are still the same and most American politicians simply do not have the skills to face off with the likes of a Kim Jung Un, Mano a Mano. Trump has seen ‘em all and he’s holds a strong hand in a game of which he changed the rules. The Joker card is absent from the deck.
Kim’s ploy was as predictable as the coming of elm blight in January. Arrange the meeting, claim actions by the other side are provocative and threaten to withdraw if they are not stopped, redo the effort and finally, alert the North Korean military on the DMZ to battle stations, fire off a few artillery rounds into the Sea of Japan and wait for the Western politicians to capitulate as they have always done. Trump doesn’t play the game that way as we have seen.
I like Nancy Pelosi. She stands as a stalwart exponent for the advancement of conservatism. With her comments on Trump’s foreign policy skills, vis a vis Kim Jung Un, nobody could be better positioned then Nancy Pelosi to drag the Democrat party further into the dim morass of really stupid ideas then she. I ask, what is “a giggle fit?” Months ago Pelosi said: “we must do everything we can to engage North Korea……” then when Donald Trump made it happen, she turns the Democrat party into obstructionists. Actually obstructionism is a bit harsh, because the Democrats are all but powerless, so they are only left mocking the President’s efforts. Where is that “Blue Wave” and when is it going to get here?
How could cancelling the 12 June media event possibly be a “setback” for US foreign policy when the predicable reaction of Kim Jung Un, comes to fruition? Kim will come back to the table. He has to. He has no other choice. The economic squeeze is on and even his back channel sources will be challenged and stopped. Follow the money. Too, he has to look over his shoulder wondering what China’s demands are if he doesn’t already know. China doesn’t need Kim. It just needs to keep the US Army away from its North Korean border. Talk about the rock and the hard spot.

Short Takes – A Return to the Draft? A Memorial Day Thought

Suggestions are swirling again about a return to the draft. For those born after the 1960’s, the draft was compulsory military service for two or more years. Throughout America’s history from the Civil War to Vietnam, different rules governed who was drafted, how one could get a deferment or a buy out, or get a political commission to work his time on a staff. That was all rife for abuse, and, it was abused.
Deferments were applied to account for medical reasons like, say flat feet and lung diseases, but a medical officer at the induction stations would make that decision. If you got your notice, you had to show up for induction and if you passed, your life changed forever.
Political deferments for celebrities, politicians and sons of politicians, like Ted Kennedy, were created while many others, stood up, begging their way into uniform. John Kennedy and his older brother did so. They weren’t famous then but their father had been US Ambassador to the UK. Hollywood stars flocked to the ranks during WW2 and did their duty as the government needed, including combat.
The draft was a numbers system, most draftees going into the army. With usable skills, one could be enrolled in a technical program for training as a mechanic, medic, or radio operator, otherwise, it was into one of the combat arms, Infantry sucking up the most. Only a few draftees ever went into the US Marine Corps or the Navy, because they filled their needed quota’s with volunteers. Many escaped the draft by school deferments and some when drafted, ran away to hide. During the Vietnam war, it was to Canada.
Many, eager to fight, volunteered to join a combat arm. That’s where the action was. For many, it wasn’t until they were covered with blood, sweat and the brains of their buddies, that they realized the awful truth about combat. It’ was then when a boy became a man and what he experienced would stay with him for the rest of his life. Every Memorial Day reveals more of these stories as the old Vet’s pass away.
Since 9/11, the military has had no problem filling its ranks with volunteers.These patriotic young people, with a few exceptions like Bowie Bergdahl, stay the course and remained loyal active members of their units. Many re-enlist to continue the fight and many comeback without limbs, emotionally traumatized or forever needing care. Some alas, never come back.
America celebrates these fighters twice a year, Memorial day and Veteran’s day when the sacrifices of our military men and women are recognized and honored. How many people do you see today stand to attention when the American flag passes in review? Veterans always do. It’s honor and sacrifice.
The problem with a return of the draft today is that most of our youths are not qualified. They have been subverted by an education system, its teaching ranks filled with the anti-war radicals from the 1960’s, like the Clintons. Our schools have failed to educate our young people about Americas traditional values and why we fight, or have lied about our history making it hateful. That’s a sad but true fact. The one great pool of true Americanism, the Boy Scouts, is being perverted into a potential pool for pedophiles.
Do we need a return to the military draft? I don’t think so! To recreate a program that expects its personal to perform, even to die on a battlefield, but turns many of them into deserters requiring efforts by the military to keep them, was never good for moral. Cowards in the ranks reveal themselves quickly and their whining can bring the moral of a whole unit down to their level of defeatism. Too, a new draft would now necessarily demand the inclusion of our daughters. Those that want to go, can do so now. Those that don’t, should stay home and tend the home fires. Today, on this Memorial Day, just be thankful Hillary Clinton’s not President. That’s worth cheering about.

The Weaponization of Allegations…
The title alone suggests another trip into “fake news.” Fake news is propaganda, lies enveloped in a tissue of half-truths and innuendos, wrapped in a blanket of sordid allegations all once protected by the once immense power of the fourth estate, the media that wields it.
At the moment, the weaponized allegations are focused on supposed sexual predators, mostly Liberal men, politicians in DC, celebrities in Hollywood and notables in the media. One woman, also a democrat, has been caught up in the mess. They have brought these problems on themselves. Logically, this entire issue of demonizing predatory sex could accomplish for the Left, what their love for abortions is not doing, effectively reducing the population.
Normal people may find it too politically incorrect to engage in the natural mating process in fear of allegations of being anti-transexual, anti-gay, anti-pervert and anti-social, by their definition of course. If the feminists get control of the issue look out. There will be no reprise for the male species. Wielding the power of unsubstantiated allegations may be fatal to Democrats.
Politically, the weaponization of allegations were launched against Donald Trump over a year ago, to little effect because he fights back. Allegations that Trump’s early morning “tweets,” as non-Presidential and dangerous, are not because they believe he is demented or out of touch with reality but because Trump, by being first out of the block each morning, sets the news agenda for the day, as he wants it, not as the media wants it. By ten o’clock each morning, the media’s weaponization of allegations are already exposed and have little or no effect on how Trump runs his administration. They respond to him not the other way around. Trump is a wealthy man, in the media limelight and usually, women came after him. Besides, nobody out here really cares. He’s doing the job they don’t want done and they are going berserk for it.
The “Left” will scream out allegations against whomever they don’t like, especially Trump, and weaponize them by constant repetition until every network is talking about it and the object of that attack finally gets the message to retire from the game. Except Trump! These have rarely been directed to Democrats until a rich, fat, Democrat supporter named Harvey Weinstein broke the dam of media protections. They can’t stop the flood that’s sweeping all away.
The sexual predators issue has clearly backfired on the media because even their own overpaid luminaries are being eliminated based upon the sheer weight of allegations that’s crushing the poor blighter down into the weeds. Judge Roy Moore was such a victim and because of it, we have an abortionist voting Democrat as a Senator from Alabama.
Climate Change skeptics for example, are accused of being “deniers,“ potential killers of coastal dwelling Americans, sure to drown as the rising tides inevitably engulfs them all. Women and children will be the worst hit. In Defense, the media, when caught with their pants down, most often claim an allegation was simply a mistake and that “mistakes are precisely the reason people should trust the media.” Well, yes, real mistakes can be forgiven but not from the media who have assumed the position as enemy of the Constitutional Americanism.
What we really have here is a struggle between conflicting ideologies, the Marxist/Socialist one of the Democrats eagerly supported by the media, and the American Constitutional one that President Trump is trying to restore, eagerly supported by us “deplorables.” Democrats are in a hole. Progressivism has so poisoned America and Americans, that we are left stunned by the Jury’s Kate Steinle’s murder verdict in San Francisco and stagger in disbelief when a clear case of homicide against a multi-felony count illegal alien intruder, who casually shot to death a woman on a San Francisco Pier with a stolen gun, was acquitted of the crime by a “jury of his peers.”
Were his peers illegal aliens too? Probably not. Juries are selected from tax or voter rolls, not from street corner loafers. Illegals do not go on record so they don’t pay taxes unless making a purchase. Therefore, the deep reach of Progressivism, as we have long suspected, must have poisoned the population of San Francisco taxpayers and turned them into real versions of brain dead zombies. No other answer could possibly explains the jury’s outrageous decision.
This shocking verdict will have consequences, and they will be intended. For the many of America’s renegade cities, like San Francisco, this verdict will be the key that energizes a slow to anger citizenry to renew calls to defund Renegade cities and build the wall. Also, it will help sweep away Progressivism in our Federal judiciary, like the 9th District Court of Appeals with their myriad of unconstitutional rulings that encourage, indeed support, sanctuary cities. This verdict should focus all eyes on the total and complete dysfunction of Progressivism and hasten its demise, not that they’re not already doing a good enough job of it themselves.
If American’s do not feel safe, and are not safe on their own streets for which they pay high taxes to maintain and protect, then the ground swell of hate and discontent will overwhelm the local political system and sweep all the buggers away into history. I believe it will mark a whole change in America’s course back to Constitutionalism. It had better do!
San Francisco, in its Barbary Coast days of the Gold Rush, rapid growth, agriculture and trading across the Pacific, also found a rapid growth of crime and a weak or nonexistent system of law enforcement, occasionally composed of individuals appointed as Sheriff’s, Marshall’s, and Constables because of their notoriety as gunfighters and tough guy’s. But they too were overwhelmed if not suborned by the criminal elements and, to the chagrin of the hapless citizens, violent street crimes continued almost unabated. So, alarmed elements of honest merchant class citizens, organized themselves into para-judicial groups variously called “Vigilantes or Regulators.” It ushered in a short but bloody period of much needed social correction.
Criminals were soon found hanging from trees in areas outside the cities. This alarmed the city fathers who quickly saw the need for the development of a police force that would enforce the laws officially and protect the citizenry. Vigilantism in San Francisco soon disappeared and serious crime soon abated, until, that is, this new era of Progressive “Sanctuary Cities.”
Renegade City’s that protect criminality (illegal aliens), and order the official police forces to protect them are in serious danger of facing some form of retribution. People need to protect themselves and their families and, if the police and politicians won’t do it, the law of unintended consequences will certainly intrude. San Francisco today is not like the San Francisco of the 1800’s. While petty street crimes still exist, gunfighters generally do not. Mostly, now, criminals are protected by the edict of local Commie governments all supported by a few local and Federal courts. It’s going to come to a head and sooner than they think! So, beware!

A Best Veteran’s Day Speech

For nearly two decades, Veterans Day in Gilmer County, Ga., has been a big event, celebrated with a parade, music, marching veterans in uniform, flags, the Gilmer Co. High School Band and chorus, free breakfasts and after parade lunches for vets. The schools also participate with prize money offered in essay and poster contests. A few times we have even enjoyed the thrill of fly overs by reserve aviation unites or CAP planes. Even a out of county High School ROTC Unit has asked to participate in the parade for the past several years. It’s always a busy day and always includes, as the main speaker, some dignitary or other, often a military officer, returned from a war zone, a local business personality or some other recognizable name.
This year, 2017, the invited guest speaker was Georgia’s own Speaker of the Georgia Assembly, and our state representative, The Honorable, Mr. David Ralston and also, a friend of mine. The following essay is the excellent speech, (verbatim) of speaker Ralston this year and was, in my opinion, just too good not to share:
“Good morning. What a beautiful day to be in Gilmer County!
I stand before you today as one who is proud to be an American. I am proud to be in Gilmer County. I am proud and honored to be a part of this very special occasion to honor our veterans for their service and sacrifice. Nothing I can say will full express the enormous debt of gratitude we owe to those who have served our nation in our military.
I want to thank everyone who helped put this spectacular display of patriotism on this morning. I particularly want to thank all of the students who have participated in today’s festivities. You all have helped us show that the American spirit is alive and well in North Georgia! Serving as Speaker of your House of Representatives as well as your State Representative is an honor for which I am thankful each and every day.
I know our political dialogue isn’t as kind as it once was. We’ve got some divisions that need healing. But we are so much better off than many other nations in the world. Here we are free to discuss and debate our disagreements. We can come to a table with different views and reason together. We have open, free and fair elections that put each and every one of us on a level playing field. That’s not the case in North Korea. That’s not the case in Zimbabwe. That’s not the case in Cuba. That’s not the case in Venezuela.
But here in this great nation, you and I are free. I am free to take a knee when I pray and I am free to stand with pride when the National Anthem is played or the Pledge of Allegiance is recited. In so many other parts of the world, people don’t enjoy the freedoms we enjoy. Their decisions are made for them. Their leaders are selected by others. The information they get is filtered for them by others. In 2017 when so many nations around the world are free – it can be hard to remember the millions of our brothers and sister who aren’t. Why do they still suffer under tyrants and dictators and we don’t? — Our men and women in uniform.
Our service members and veterans who have stood up to serve this one nation – under God – indivisible – say it with me – “with liberty and justice for all.” Throughout our history, America has been attacked by those who don’t value freedom. Whether it was the Axis powers in World War II or today’s terrorists from ISIS or Al Qaeda, Americans have always had the protection of our armed forces.
In the noise of today’s 24-hour news cycle, service and sacrifice aren’t qualities that we hear much about. That’s a shame. Yet there are heroes who live in communities each and every day – our mothers and fathers, sons and daughters, neighbors and friends – the veterans of our armed forces.
If anything, I hope today reminds us that no matter what happens, there are good and decent patriots who have stood up to defend our freedoms. They have offered to make the ultimate sacrifice and lay down their lives, if necessary, to protect this nation and its citizens. In the Book of John, Jesus tells us that “greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”
By stepping forward and volunteering to serve, each member of our Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard and Reserves offers to do just that. So today is a day that we pause to honor and celebrate their collective service and sacrifice. Today we rededicate ourselves to supporting our veterans and showing them the gratitude they deserve.
So long as the sun rises and the stars come out at night, this nation will remain a beacon of hope and opportunity for every oppressed person around the globe. They dream of one day enjoying the freedoms we enjoy. They dream of the limitless possibilities that exist in America.
And so long as our armed forces keep watch, this nation will stand proudly as the land of the free and the home of the brave. May God bless our veterans and our United States of America. Thank you!”

A Week of Disasters
Where does one begin to reflect upon this weeks events? How does one devalue any American’s military service? We saw it start in the 1960’s when G.I.’s returning from Vietnam were spat upon, harassed and disrespected by the Communist influenced radicals who refused military service, organized demonstrations against ROTC programs and fought police on the streets. This was the era that spawned the Clinton’s. Gratefully, It’s almost over, we hope.
We see the NFL register their disrespect every weekend at game day, and we saw it again when the US Army deserter and traitor, Bowie Bergdahl walked out of a military court at Fort Bragg, NC, a man free of further punishment because a “snowflake” Obama officer, Col. Jeffery R. Nance, didn’t like the Commander-in-Chief’s comments about exchanging Bergdahl for five Muslim terrorist generals and opening that Bergdahl, who did not serve with honor or distinction, should be executed. It appears the inmates are still in charge of the institution.
But, Bergdahl isn’t free. He will forever be imprisoned by his cowardice, waiting and wondering when the retribution that settles scores will surely come. He will forever be looking over his shoulder, sleeping in different bedrooms every night, moving from place to place seeking the anonymity he so desperately craves and will never get. In the end, he will kill himself. He must!
Bergdahl’s treachery, and the court martial judges decision, is a burden almost too heavy to bear. Bergdahl will realize the approbation he so richly deserves and it will hound his thoughts to the grave, unlike his Commander-in-Chief, Obama, who nearly succeeded in neutering the very essence of a military’s strength with his transgender, homosexual policies of socialization. Bergdahl is a product of that socialization experiment.
That leaves us with 26 year old Devin P. Kelly, a once Air Force member awarded a Bad Conduct Discharged with a sad social media history of malfunctioning brain cells, who committed the awful murders in that Texas church. He was a deranged single white male with a personal history of violence, anger and hate. Immediately, the media screams “gun control, gun control,” yet we saw that a good man with a gun, can stop a bad man with a gun. The second amendment is non-negotiable by the way. Kelly’s in-laws were members of that church.
What the “Left” loves to do is immediately try to connect the murderers to Tea Party or conservative Republicans. If their search is not rewarded, and they’re now careful not to make rash assumptions, they report nothing at all. In this case, their search has not revealed Kelly’s political affiliation and, as we know if he had been a registered Republican, they would have screamed about it at once. Therefore, he had to have been a Progressive Democrat.
That brings us to sorting out the plethora of suggestions now flooding in about how to stop these awful shootings. What is apparent, and always ignored, is that thus far, all of America’s mass killings with guns and cars, were committed either by Muslims or Liberal Progressives. No NRA members yet. The Texas murders seriously suggests that to prevent these types of assaults in the future, anybody registered as a “Democrat” should be denied gun ownership. It only figures.
The Texas shooter had an Irish name. The Irish have devolved a long history of rebellion, shootings, and killings. Should the Irish among us be denied the right of Constitutional self-protection because one of their number committed an outrage at a small country church? Maybe not because he was Irish but because he was a Liberal/Progressive. Yes, that will do.

Time to Fish or Cut Bait

“United we stand, divided we fall.” Where have we heard that before and how many times? Our nation is not united as the media keeps reminding us. But, it’s true! The division began in ernest with LBJ’s Great Society, a socialist scheme supposedly to level the playing field for all Americans to enjoy America’s bounty, skills and ability be damned. Both of America’s political parties couldn’t wait to implement LBJ’s wonderful plan, not because it was Constitutional, but because politicians all wanted to look good to the vast pool of potential poor voters.
The two parties appeared to want to out do each other but, these many years later, we know that the Progressive Left had already suborned the Democrat party and, under the guise of the party of FDR, presumed to undo Americas exceptionalism by introducing multiculturalism, and diversity, change its educational goals to re-cast American history and denigrate its Christian religion. First, they destroyed the black family by their welfare schemes to ensure the enslavement of black Americans to the Democrat party, for ever.
Enter another rub, Affirmative Action, a patently unconstitutionally, wicked scheme that at a stroke, tipped the level playing field to favor America’s non-producers, to the detriment of America’s productive work force. That it was aimed to assist our black population was the noble goal. But, for blacks, It was a “fish or cut bait” scheme leaving the streets littered with failed, unemployable black males without family obligations, income or hope.
Over fifty years later, a new President is returning the rule of law that will make the Constitution work the way it was intended. When our Americans of African descent finally realize this, they will succeed not only as a culture but as successful Americans. Many already have. The fifty plus years of liberalism’s dysfunction is coming to an end, as it surely must.
To be effective, political party’s must also stand united. Their first duty is to the Constitution. But, the Socialist-Democrat party is in disarray. Do they go all in for Marxism or move to the center to challenge Republicans? The Republicans are in disarray because having sipped the wine of political privilege they became intoxicated with their individual power. Now that they have it, they don’t know how to handle it. They are not united because they have lost the trust of their conservative voter base. It’s the Humpty-Dumpty fable in real time.
The bewildered GOP leadership, apparently not yet having fully recovered from the catatonic shock that Trumps election gave them, still believe that because they now hold the reins of government and party discipline in their soft little hands, all Republicans should stand united in supporting their program, you know, the one they talked about for seven years, to repeal and replace Obamacare. Suddenly, they were caught in a lie. They don’t want to replace Obamacare because those same poor voters won’t vote for them, they think.
The GOP has yet to accept that President Trump is now in charge. To the causal observer, the vast sums of taxpayer money paid to insurance companies as cost sharing subsidies by Obama’s Executive Order, were funds not authorized by the Congress as the Constitution demands and are therefore, null and void effective immediately. Trump did it around the GOP Congress and neither the Congress nor Liberal Judges can arrest the stoppage.
If GOP politicians expects to enjoy the support of their voter base, they had better get behind President Trump and stop this silly #Never-Trump nonsense. For individual politicians, its definitely a “fish or cut bait” proposition. America can’t afford any more nonsense.

America’s Voice of Conscience?
For some incomprehensible reason the noted historian and farceur, Jimmy Kimmel, from his national late night TV platform, in a typically leftist screed of emotional anti-self defense propaganda after the Las Vegas mass murders, sought to tell Americas what the founding fathers really thought about the possession of firearms by American’s. He contended that the Founders did not foresee modern technology. He claimed that arguments today about why they set out to defend gun possession in the Bill of Rights, no longer apply to today’s standards.
Who in the world had the gall to claim that Jimmy Kimmel was America’s Voice of Conscience?To be a voice of anything, people have to listen to you, a lot of people in fact, and they have to agree with what you’re saying. Jimmy simply doesn’t qualify. Our president does.
Jimmy K. missed the point, didn’t he? The founders understood that personal possession of firearms was necessary to enable Americans to defend themselves from brigands, robbers, hostile Indians, British soldiers and, as Thomas Jefferson pointed out, even the government.
The primary purpose for possessing firearms, apart from hunting and sport shooting which only a small number of people do today, is encapsulated in the desire for self-defense or more correctly, survival. It does not involve the changing technology of weapons. It is self-defense!
Firearms are nothing more than the assembly of predesigned pieces of metal, fit together into an operating system, designed to strike a firing device to ignite an explosive (gun powder) to propel a missile (lead ball) down a barrel directed to an object, and hit the object. Cold steel.
The Las Vegas mass murders by firearms, was another shock to the nation and a conundrum to law enforcement in that the wealthy, white shooter, who took his own life before he could be apprehended, didn’t leave a trail to be followed that would have revealed his motive. That he probably had too many firearms for a sport shooter or a hunter is a lingering question to be answered. Why records of multiple gun purchases by a single individual over a months or so period didn’t arouse official suspicion, is another question to be asked.
Modern computing systems for gun sales, coordinated with state law enforcement intelligence units should be a consideration. That’s why police departments, at all levels, have intelligence units to pre-determine (educated guesses) potential mischief against public safety.
The Las Vegas incident focused the eyes of Law Enforcement on Americas biggest weakness, mass gatherings of unarmed people at entertainment venues. Sad examples already exist, in Birmingham, UK, Orlando, Fl. and San Bernardino, Ca. so, the Las Vegas shooting could have been anticipated. Some type of attack should have been guessed at or at least supposed.
Las Vegas appears to be a premier example of apparent unconcern about potential violence, a “It won’t happen here” attitude. But, it did! The concert crowd, out in the open as they were, could have as easily been mowed down by motor vehicles, a cheap and very effective method of spreading terror used effectively by Islamic terrorists. Vehicles are the machines of today’s advanced transportation modes, up from ox carts and buggies that our founders rode around in. Vehicles didn’t even make it into the Constitution, but firearms did. If the ‘Left’ ever succeeds in negating the 2nd Amendment, they’ll play hell enforcing it. Jimmy Kimmel isn’t the voice of conscience, he’s one of the Left’s “useful idiots” Stalin talked about.

Treachery Knows No Bounds

In light of the failure of a few treacherous Republican Senators to keep their promise to Repeal
Obamacare, Chuckie Schumer, the humorless Democrat party’s main man, has become
edacious in his desire to join hands across the aisle, just like the good ol’ corrupt days, to help
Republicans craft a health care bill acceptable to the him.
A government run single payer health care system has long been the communists end goal for a
completely captured America enslaved by dependency. Several Republican Senators can’t see
that and demand an all or nothing acceptance of their own personal ideas, in effect, keeping
Obamacare. The solution does not lie in accepting the Democrats hand of legislative fellowship.
To do so will be the kiss of death for the GOP. John McCain would do it.
With Democrats, no somnambulism there. Chuckie Schumer all but knocked people over racing
to the podium to humbly make his offer to Mitch McConnell. He is determine to keep the
Democrat party, what’s left of it, alive and functioning and in the public eye until the 2018
elections hopefully, will change the composition of Congress. It won’t! America have thrown off
the yoke of socialism and don’t want it back. The big changes will come with primary challenges
of those treacherous GOP incumbents by real conservatives who will keep their promises.
Democrat Schumer believes, despite election losses since 2012, that the Democrat Party is still
relevant when in fact it is totally discombobulated in the extreme, leaderless at its head, is totally
without vision and so far out of the main stream as to be labeled anachronistic.
There are not enough words to render my disgust of GOP Senatorial perfidy, not even wanting
to have a vote to relieve Americans of the one trillion dollar plus tax burden Obamacare has
imposed is grounds for removal. I reckon the one applicable word is “Trust.” Trust is the life
blood of any organization, it is honor based. The military has it. Soldiers in combat absolutely
must trust their mates right and left, as they do him, to protect the flanks, nor pale in the heat of
battle and be willing to die for each other if necessary. That is the epitome of trust.
The media is not trustworthy. They tossed that away in pursuit of the Left’s agenda. The
Democrats, evidenced by their many election failures, have lost the trust of their constituents
and the Republicans themselves are about to go ‘all in’ in losing its base because they lied and
can no longer claim the trust of their base. Worse, Americans are losing trust in the Federal
government itself, especially the odious apparatus of its regulatory bureaus, its few corrupt law
enforcement agencies and its uncontrolled growth with unbridled power to tax. It’s a wicked
state of affairs indeed.
If Republicans are not to be trusted to keep their promises, then why elect them? Their base,
i.e.: Tea Parties in selected states, are already moving to challenge incumbents who have failed
to keep their promises. It will be a hard fight but any politician who has not kept his promise to
repeal Obamacare will have a hard time defending himself from his/her failure. The National
Republican Senatorial Committee will fund the incumbents so, don’t give them your money.
Give it to your candidate of choice and get involved in the candidate vetting process.
Term limits would have relieved the recalcitrant, feckless Republicans senators of the burden of
indecision. If they can’t make a choice, then why even be there? I suspect for the generous
retirement and the more generous nonObama health care plan? That must be it. Yes!
