Trump, the Boy Scouts and Obamacare.
Because the Boy Scouts wear brown uniforms and listened in their thousands to President Trump address their West Virginia Jamboree, as all Presidents have been invited to do, the mean street media has chosen to compare Trump to Adolf Hitler addressing the Hitler Jungend in support of National Socialism. That’s a mean smear of the Boy Scout movement.
Nothing could more asinine then that clumsy media attempt at political comparison. It’s all visual of course, boys in brown uniforms and a strong leader addressing them. The media’s intent had no other purpose, expressed or implied, then to make Trump look like a fascist dictator and denigrate the Boy Scouts as mere Hitler Youths. That the boys cheered wildly is because they realize Trump was returning to them the very reasons of their oath taking pledges.
The last thing in the world Donald Trump could possibly be is a National Socialist. At the Scout’s Jamboree, we saw no torch light marching, no goose stepping around a massive bonfire, no adoration of happy youths singing the Horst Wessel song, Die Fahne Hoch. As usual Trump delivered his prepared speech with a few personal asides thrown in and the press went ballistic.
Obama was closer to being a National Socialist than Trump ever could be, but Obama lacked that killer instinct to make the final important decisions needed to implement and make stick his National Socialists policies. Remember the videos right after Obama’s first inauguration, of a cadre of young negro boys marching into a room, arms swinging like storm troopers, snapping to attention on command and reciting their oaths declaring their total commitment to Obama? Those boys are now eight years older and are still out there. Doesn’t ISIS do the same with their children, brainwashing them into such a hatred of the West that they’re willing to cut throats, wear explosive vests into crowded streets and kill their enemies as directed? Yes!
Obama offered Americans a plate of socialism, like his Obamacare scheme. He supported it by promises that were all lies then left his political minions (the DNC) to carry the ball in his attempt to fundamentally change America. Obama had two full terms to make it happen and he still couldn’t get it done and now his plans are quickly unraveling at the hands of a potent businessman who recognized socialist crap when he saw it and tells the boy scouts why. Too bad three Republican Senators, Collins, Murkowski and McCain, refused to come along.
National Socialism, aka: fascism, is simply one side of the same Socialist coin. Communism, with slight social variations, occupy’s the reverse side. National Socialism (fascism) permits its citizens to own their homes, farms and factories so long as they grow or produce what the state demands. It is better that the citizens concur because outwardly, all seems serene and in agreement. Failure to do so earns a late-night visit by the States Secret Police.
Communism on the other hand, owns everything, homes, farms, apartments and means of production and doles it out to their citizens, like single payer heart care, according to their needs. The Communist State, in return, demands from its citizens their labor according to their ability. Not a good formula for economic development so State bureaucrats set production goals that must be met. Not a happy place to be, “from you according to your ability, to you according to your need.” Both systems promise its citizens a happy Socialist utopia. “Comarads, just do what you are told and be happy about it.” They have a secret police too. Trump makes no such claims. He’s a pure pro American capitalist and told the Boy Scouts that. Remember, freedom is the goal, the Constitution is the way. Now go get ‘em! (28Jul17)

The Face of Tyranny
This business of the FBI allegedly conducting an unauthorized and independent investigation against the President of the United States simply because he fired James Comey, smacks of high treason. The operative word here is “unauthorized.” Investigations by federal investigative agencies with authority to make arrests, must be authorized by some higher authority empowered, by statute, to requests such an investigation. It’s called “Predication.” Who authorized the investigation into Donald Trump? It was McCabe, a Trump hater. Upon what criminal or CI issue was it predicated? It was an attempted coup against the President.
In the military, a commanding officer, of any level of command, can request an investigation on so and so, or such and such to gather facts incidental to a crime or issues deemed prejudicial to good order and discipline. Depending on the nature of the suspected crime or person to be investigated, such requests, if on major incidents, like felonies, counter-intelligence issues and etc., most often will rise to higher authority for ‘predication.’ An investigation request by a ship’s captain, if serious enough will nearly always rise to a squadron, flotilla or fleet command level before any investigation is officially opened, let alone conducted.
For any federal policing agency, with the powers of arrest, to independently initiate an investigation against any individual without authorization from higher authority, marks that agency as ‘rogue’ and therefore criminal, and would render any evidence collected, any arrest made and any prosecution desired, absolutely untenable. Agents involved could be fired, prosecuted themselves and open for personal damage law suites.
These are the practices of totalitarian states. It is not how America has done its policing. The former East Germany’s Stazi, the Soviets KGB and whatever the Chinese call their secret police, are prime examples of police states. Their authority to protect the state is omnipotent and their tactics authorized. Their very existence strikes fear and terror into the populace, like the Gestapo of Nazi Germany did. They are never challenged and it is from these quarters where citizens are visited by arrests in the dark of night, brutal interrogations in hidden prison cells often ending with a midnight “affronter a mort” with a bullet.
So, how did this Gestapo mentality infect America’s FBI? The disease of police tyranny appears to be limited only to the highest levels of the FBI. Street level agents will investigate as they are told and that could include raids ending in violence. That is the face of tyranny! Attorneys should never run a police agency. The Director of the FBI must be one who has risen through the FBI’s ranks. At the federal level, career DoJ attorneys with agendas, are easily corruptible.
Is this our America now? Have the Clinton’s and the Obama’s so polluted the government politically that the “deep state,’ long embedded in the hierarchy of the FBI, DoJ and the IRS, no longer fear the wrath of the American people? Who’s going to call them out? Who’s going to get the ball of justice rolling? The Clinton’s remain free, Loretta Lynch remains free, Lois Learner remains free, John Brennan remains free, the former DNI remains free, James Comey remains free, Strzok and Page both remain free. When will the hand of justice pick this ripe fruit?
What the NYT did, believing they were exposing a hot scoop against Trump, was to rip the scab off the wound and further reveal the depth of political tyranny in the FBI. I’m growing tired of this criminal unaccountability by the Left. We’ll soon have a new Attorney General. Let’s hope he gets the ball rolling. Let’s expect to see justice done. The alternative is also unacceptable.

Israel, A Step Forward
So, Trump enacted a long ignored law passed over twenty years ago that officially recognizes Jerusalem as the legitimate capital of the state of Israel by announcing he will move the US Embassy there. Trump’s announcement set off a pre-arranged, spontaneous mass rage event by stateless people, Arab’s, who call themselves Palestinians and claim to be the legitimate occupants of the area called Palestine, that includes Israel. Will wonders never cease? It’s rarely ever mentioned that the Israelites, ethnically Semites, are also Palestinians.
Since Trump’s announcement, Leftists scream “the Peace Process is over,” that the years America spent trying to bring the Arabs and Jews together will have been wasted. Oh woe! That’s nonsense, of course! The past twenty years, or longer, of “the peace process,” was nothing more than a willful exercise in wishful thinking so far as a ‘rapprochement’ between Arabs and Jews is concerned. So, President Trump, acting on existing US law, did exactly what previous presidents, Clinton, Bush and Obama, proudly proclaimed they would do, recognize Jerusalem as the Capital of the State of Israel, but didn’t. So be it! Let the games begin.
The “Peace Process” has been a sham from the very beginning because the Arabs, as Muslims, have long held the Koranic promise to recreate the Caliphate of The Islamic state of Syria, Iraq, and the Levant (ISIL) was inviolate. The idea of allowing a Jewish State in their midst is non- negotiable and always have been. As the Quran permits, lying to Infidels until the Caliphate is at last created, is permissible. Hence, the droning years of useless Peace Talks. In other words, Islam will never recognize Israel as anything but as a place from which Jewish slaves can be harvested. In 1948, the Arab League recognized Palestine as an Arab state, to create a point of argument against infidels. The Kingdom of Jordan, the Arab state that borders Israel on the east, is also considered a part of the Levant. Two wars have failed to remove Israel.
Like all schemes of the West’s far Left Progressive liberals, the Arab-Israeli problem in the Middle-east has been their vehicle to demean the Jewish State, delegitimize the United Nations resolution of 1948 that created the State of Israel, and maintain a constant atmosphere of political ‘crisis’ that includes, not even subtly, an eventual return to the Third Reich’s scheme for the “Final Solution,” but using Islamic Forces, not SS troops (Europeans).
The planning for this eventuality has long been in the process, especially the decades the Left has spent trying to create a workable form of Marxist Socialism in the United States. Trump has thrown a monkey wrench into the whole scheme and like cheap watches, it’s flying apart
Hamas has announced it is ready to “Fight The Zionist Entity after Trump’s Declaration!” One wonders if the fever might spread to the stateless ones in places like Dearborn, Michigan and other American nests of the Islamic cancer Obama spent eight years importing into the American heartland.
So, what’s new? Arabs have clashed with Israeli forces over the West Bank and the Gaza strip for decades. Predictions of ‘unrest’ were staged within a day after President Trumps announcement, and Israel’s military has been sending additional police and combat units to the old familiar flash points in the West Bank and Gaza, in response. All this has long been Plan “B” for Hamas and Hezbollah to create their Caliphate. The Jihadists have patience and can wait and, while Israel can win a thousand wars, they only need to lose one.

WASHINGTON, D.C. – U.S. Senator David Perdue (R-GA), a member of the Senate Budget Committee, released the following statement after the U.S. Senate moved one step closer to fixing our tax code this year:
“Let’s be very clear. This budget is a sham and the entire budget process is a fraud being perpetrated on the American people. Only four times in the past 43 years has the budget process fully worked to fund the government on time. The only reason we’re even doing the budget like this is to get tax done this year.
“In the middle of the dog-and-pony show tonight there was a glimmer of hope. Senator Whitehouse and I teamed up to author a bipartisan amendment to acknowledge our frustration with the budget process and the need to fix it. The U.S. Senate agreed unanimously that the budget process is broken. Getting the entire U.S. Senate, both Republicans and Democrats, to acknowledge the futility of the current budget process and the political side shows that come with it, is a step in the right direction. We need to fix this.
“It is all related. In order for the federal government to have the ability to act on our national priorities, we must solve the debt crisis. To solve the debt crisis, we have to fix our budget process. Job one is getting the economy going, and the economy will move if we get this tax deal done. It’s as simple as that.”
The U.S. Senate unanimously agreed by a voice vote to Senator Perdue’s bipartisan amendment with Senator Whitehouse that acknowledges Congress’ broken budget process (Perdue 1167).

What We Learn From Polls
Beware the pop quizzes the various internet sites ask of its readers. I personally like to consult Bob Livingston’s Personal Liberty site where they ask a serious of ‘loaded’ questions requiring only a “yes” or “no” answer, without qualification. For example, today’s series of questions were:
1) Is President Trump mentally fit to serve? Yes or no? Of course he is and he demonstrates it daily. He’s running circles around Congress, putting them into positions where they have been legislatively moribund in their decision making abilities, not wanting to threaten their financial supporters. Add in the treachery of six Republican Senators, John McCain primary among them, the wailings of the deranged media and the question becomes, just who is mentally fit?
2) Should President Trump have kept Steve Bannon on board at the White House? Yes or No? He could have, but Bannon best serves Trump from the outside where he promises to attack all Deep State Republicans for removal, which brings us to the next question…..
3) Is the GOP headed for major upsets in the 2018 midterms? Yes or No? Yes, but it will not be the Democrats replacing feckless Republicans, it will be candidates from the Conservative Tea Party side of the Republican party. Democrats are going all in for Marxism. That won’t do!
4) Is Trump’s attack on NBC an assault on their 1st Amendment Rights? Yes or No? The President has a 1st Amendment right to defend himself just as NBC enjoys a 1st Amendment to promote Democrat propaganda against him. It’s a two way street, isn’t it?
5) Does a gun registry threaten the 2nd Amendment? Yes or No? It certainly does. A registry, as we saw in Australia, permitted a rogue socialist government to arbitrarily seize all citizens guns because government knew where they were located. Australians are now being overrun by street criminals, with guns, and violent muslims pushing the envelope of their silly demands.
6) Is Roy Moore the beginning of a broader conservative revolt in the GOP? Yes or No? Of course he is. Despite Senate Majority Leader McConnell’s throwing millions of NRC donations in support of his picked candidate, and the Administration’s support, Moore won. It’s a start.
7) Should the U.S. launch a military strike on North Korea? Yes or No? Not peremptorily. South Korea is in the way. It should be their decision, unless NK launches a first strike. We can push them though, by shooting down their next test launch missile.
8) Should bump stocks and similar devices be banned? Yes or No? The question now is should they be seized? Stores have sold out and one can be fashioned by any home grown fabricator of which America is gifted with a vast rich pool. Full automatic weapons are illegal to possess without the hard to get ATF tax stamp. Another law will do nothing to stop violence with guns,…. or knives, or hammers or cars, for that matter.
9) Time for Nancy Pelosi to retire? Yes or No? A silly question, isn’t it? Absolutely not. For the GOP, Nancy is the gift that keeps on giving.
10) Will the GOP establishment sabotage Roy Moore? Yes or No? Yes, they’ll try but, it will only serve to confirm what voters everywhere already know, draining the swamp will not be complete until the establishment GOPer’s are all swept away too. America Reeling

America is reeling under the continued onslaught and seemingly endless attacks on our culture, our
traditions, our elections and our laws by the Marxists Democrat party. How is it one wonders, that each
election where Democrat candidates fail to win, is deemed to be the fault of some Republican official or
laid at the feet of stupid white people who don’t know what’s best for them and voted the wrong way?
Their plan is a cunningly designed assault on the once considered fair election process to wear down
conservatives and cause Americans to lose so much trust in the process that they’ll just say, “to hell with
it!” and stay home on election days. That’s the aim of the Democrat Party, to achieve ultimate victory
without offering any plan that fits within the framework of the US Constitution. To constantly attack Trump,
Republicans and conservatives as the country’s main problem and its true failures is their constant goal.
‘How can American’s possibly be happy if some are more wealthy than others and the others are so poor
and destitute that they require government assistance?’ Let’s extrapolate that to: “why aren’t all
Americans provided living wage?” It’s the government’s responsibility to see that all its citizens are housed
and happy, free of health issues and fed, except veterans. Education is limited to what the government
thinks you need, not what you want. If the government can’t fund the benefits promised then the wealthy
can, so it becomes the government’s mission to redistribute their wealth by jacking up their “fair share.”
Like cancer in a living organism, the presence of Democrat polling and election officials almost surely
guarantees a predictable outcome. Voter count manipulation is rampant especially in Democrat controlled
urban centers. In some Philadelphia precincts for example, Democrat candidates swept 100% of the vote
count when in fact Conservatives complained they voted Republican and their votes were never reflected
in the count. A recount machine in Fl. overheated. That’s like saying the “dog ate my homework!”
Texas recently arrested a four or five member democrat voter fraud ring of election officials who face trial
and imprisonment. That’s only in Texas so far. In Broward Co., Fl., for some inexplicable reason, Brenda
Snipes, the supervisor of elections, previously cited for election irregularities has still retained her post
and is, once again charged with destroying ballots, stuffing rejected ballots into the uncounted pool and
other nefarious crimes that should have seen her jailed years ago. But, she’s black, she’s elderly and she
has a Ed.D as an educator and so therefore any attempt to remove her would be racist.
The Democrat party does not want a free and independent America and so it becomes imperative for
them to try to snatch governmental power away from that awful Donald Trump by hook or crook in order
to return to their already approved plan to reduce America to a third world nation status where people will
be required to live within the narrow confines of correct political think, like “Animal Farm.”
Our freedom is endangered and, if Obama’s plan to “fundamentally change America,” with or without him
at the helm continues, then we can expect Marxism to try to take sufficient hold of the reigns of
government and its institutions, that only a civil war could answer. Recall, the Dept. of Justice, the Internal
Revenue Service, the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the State Department, were corrupted by the
Clintons and the levers of the tyrannical state were loosed on our populous by Obama. The reason they
did not succeed is because of Donald Trump. How do they answer? Ensure this doesn’t happen again by
taking over control of the election process. That’s what we are witnessing today in places like Florida,
Georgia and, I suspect, in Arizona as well. It’s why Scott Walker lost the governorship of Wisconsin and
many local elections fell into Democrat’s hands. It’s no longer politics as usual!
Democrats are not all omnipotent. They have their weaknesses like the aging leadership of Nancy Pelosi
and Chuckie Schumer so, there is some room for hope. Democrats face an uprising from the young super
Marxists gaining congressional seats and that will certainly stymie their aspirations for going after the
President. Too, many will face their own trial by fire when criminal grand jury inditement’s start rolling out
against them. We will wait and report while America reels in confusion.

Short Takes – Mueller vs. Trump vs.the American Public, or Pipe Dreams?
Opinion May 21, 2018I never cease to be amazed at the crap the media feeds us including the opinions of journalists just barely able to peel bananas with their hands.The otiose schemes the deranged Left keeps pushing is the political danger to Pres. Trump should he fires Mueller. Oh, the humanity of it!
Well, let’s get on with it; watch where the smoke comes from then put out the fire. This wasted, year long Mueller drama which all but indites Hillary Clinton and her coterie of conspirators in the DOJ, the FBI, the IRS and the State Dept. as the true criminals, needs to be resolved and soon. The patience of the American voters who put Trump in office is growing thin. They will not abandon Trump when the real problems are so clear. Heads must roll and then we can heal the wounds,and work to return to a true constitutional republic like the founders envisioned.
“Is their a constitutional confrontation in the offing?” asks one headline. The article posits the notion that Mueller is nearly omnipotent in fighting crime and or evil and has the power and authority like a Grand Wizard, to demand the President of the United States present himself before a Grand Jury, presumably to arrange his public execution by burning at the stake. Right!
The article allows that the President has some outs like any other citizen, such as invoking his 5th amendment rights; that he can simply remove the Deputy. AG, who hired Mueller after Jeff Sessions abdicated his responsibility, daring to face the slings and arrows, that will come or, he could simply swat the Mueller nuisance away, de-fund the investigation and move on, a proposal most Americans really want. It reminds us that the president is not “above the law” but fails to warn us that Hillary Clinton, the corrupt James Comey, Loretta Lynch, et. al., are above the law. “Oh, the harm it would do to the FBI’s reputation..& etc., etc.” Well, the top management has been exposed as a nest of vipers and does need to be cleaned out, the sooner the better.
We know that the Supreme Court ruled that Nixon, who did have tapes and records, had to produce them as physical evidence. What does Trump have to produce he hasn’t already freely given? Nothing, so the hunt goes on until they find something. They can forget any more Stormy Daniels stories. No body cares. Bill Clinton saw to that. That’s old news. The issue behind the issues here is that the Democrats have no issues they can convince Americans to embrace other than the Obama socialist disaster that Trump is now happily discarding. They can run on no other issue except “hate Trump” because he beat ‘em soundly, leaving them bereft of power and like Biblical Moses, wandering aimlessly in the Sinai. Listening to the morose former House Speaker, Nancy Pelosi is evidence enough of that.
It’s in their best interests to attack Trump, in fact it’s their only interest if they dream of ever recapturing the Congress again but, I suspect “dreams” are not policies. Democrat dreams cannot possibly move or replace Trumps successes like his tax cuts, killing the regulation state, his rising employment and GDP numbers and low unemployment rates, ripping America away from stupid trade deals that have hurt us, and ignoring the pseudo science environmental nonsense that the left believes will empower them to create their ‘dreamed’ one world order to save the planet. More importantly, he’s not afraid to face off Iran, which is facing its own internal problems, and the North Korean dingbat who pushed himself onto the world stage as a nuclear competitor and now can’t let go. Trump, the protagonist, has challenged them all and they react as he has expected them to. The Democrats are in disarray, Iran has squandered the billions Obama gave him and are almost broke and Kim is in fear of losing it all by his over extension.

The Schumer Shutdown was a calculated ‘game of chicken,’ two objects, amnesty for illegals vs. building a wall, objects hurtling headlong at each other to an inevitable collision. For one side to achieve success the other side must give up, move away and yield the field. Failure to do so should be like the immovable object meets the irresistible force, a smash up of incalculable violence unless, of course, one of the objects was squishy. Hummn?
The calculation has always been predictably the same, with the same outcome, Democrats win, Republicans lose. But not this time. No, this time one of the energy forces was Donald Trump, not a Republican, but definitely a leader. The Republicans haven’t enjoyed real adult supervision like this since Ronald Reagan but, they haven’t yet moved to embrace Trump.
Schumer, secure in his arrogant insouciance, called for a government shutdown and Trump didn’t respond! He all but laughed off Schemers threats, ignored alarming the public and very efficiently hung the shutdown debacle around Schemers neck, and it drug him down.
The media was shocked by Trump’s handling of the “Dreamer” negotiations. “Why, that was not how the game was to be played.” But nobody told Trump. Negotiations are supposed to be conducted between the political parties, a consensus arrived at and a bipartisan bill placed upon the President’s desk that he was expected to sign. Not this time. Trump made campaign promises and he expects to fulfill them. The non-Republican President already knew what he wanted, and he told them so. The mere political expectation for the usual order for things, heretofore designed to meet Democrat demands, amnesty for all without a wall, simply wouldn’t pass muster for President Trump. Shock, OMG!
Trump didn’t get involved in the detailed negotiations, he simply told them he would have the wall before any amnesty for illegals would even be considered. Schemer thought he could call Trump’s bluff, with the American people behind him. But Trump wasn’t bluffing. It took two days for Schumer to realize that Americans weren’t with him after all and he give up, a first!
Schumer’s dirty little secret in this game of chicken is the dangers of underestimating Donald Trump. For over the first full year of his presidency, Trump has continuously demonstrated his ability to connect with the people on all the issues the politicians ignore. Trump is absolute in trusting his instincts and he knew he would prevail because he understands the peoples gestalt far better than poll takers, precinct workers and the fake news media.
More importantly, Trump clearly doesn’t trust Republican leadership either, locked as they have been for so long in the policy of failure. We see changes here with Paul Ryan realizing where genuine conservative leadership comes from and adjusting his position in the House. Mitch McConnell is slowly coming around too. The taste of victory is sweet and delicious. The taste of failure, a first for Democrats, is like the bile rising up from an upset stomach.
What is Trump’s secret? First, he doesn’t even try to appease the NYT or Washington Post or, more especially, CNN. He doesn’t need their approval because nothing he could do, short of quitting, would ever earn their respect. Instead he attacks them as the purveyors of fake newsies and propaganda they have become and therefore he delegitimizes them as trustworthy sources of real news. The people love it and Trump knows it. We can’t afford to lose this man, he’s a fighter!

Today is the first day of a brand new year, that drags along with it the sum of all the problems and pretenses of the old year, but accompanied with a dash of sincere hope that under new management, our country can succeed in restoring America to its rightful role, for all the world, as the “Shining Beacon on the Hill.”
I noted that we approach the future under Donald Trump, ‘with a dash of hope,’ but also with a marked lack of enthusiasm. The TEA Party experience seems to have evaporated into thin air after having achieved three consecutive election victories for Conservative principles that finally showed the Marxist-Democrats the door. But those rascals are still out there plotting and scheming and organizing, to undo the grass works efforts that made a Trump Presidency and a Republican Congress possible. From Republicans, there is no gratitude.
Shockingly, the lack of acknowledgement of that effort from our stunned elected politicians who constitute the Republican Party, and who still fail to grasp the import of the tidal wave of political change that eliminated the Democrats, has also swept the GOP’s influence out the door too. They are still reeling in disbelief wondering how a pragmatists became their leader. Apparently some have even “reached across the aisle” to join hands with the Socialist enemy to try to restore their combined hegemony over the American political process. Let the looting continue.
Primary among the GOP “Never Trumpers” stands 4th place loser John Kasich, Governor of Ohio who, if the frequent appeals from his web site to my email address are any indication, still believes he should be the rightful Republican candidate so as to restore to proper governing, the failed process of “bipartisanship” and return our government to the capable hands of the one world government crowd composed of mega banks, international corporations and the quasi assembly of third world nations gathered under the blue banner of the United Nations.
2018 will be another important midterm election experience for conservatism. Also judging by the volume of their appeals for donations, Democrats must truly believe, because Americans really, really hate Trump, that they will capture the House and the Senate again. How they accomplish that goal with an intractable and intransigent, but aging leadership, themselves ready for hospice care, is in serious doubt. Their message never changes, free stuff for everyone, no border walls, protect sanctuary cities and states, and free education and glorify perversion because it’s only fair.
Future leadership for the Democrat party is an unspoken contest between old time American leftists and the corroding influence of foreign ideals (Islam), they are trying to force into the American culture as a norm, a precursor of the coming jihad that turns America into a Caliphate.
Presently, both party’s find their bases confused by indecision. For the Democrats, it’s do they move further left and double down, or move center right to save themselves? For the stupid Republicans, a golden opportunity has been laid at their feet and sure as heck, they’re going to flub it. Where is the TEA parties when we need them? The GOP needs to be cleansed of its socialist heretics. Younger conservative candidates need to be encouraged to step forward and seize the reins of American constitutionalism. As my friend Jack Smith reminds us constantly, “if not now, when?” “If not you, who?”…or something like that. We’ve got to get moving, now.

Bush Finally Speaks
What did it take for former President George W. Bush to finally come out of his burrow and make a public declaration against a sitting President? No no, not against the eight years of Obama’s disastrous attempt to socialize America, or demeaning Bush’s own presidency, but against conservative Donald Trump who is intent on rescuing America from the bleak future of collectivism of the type we now see unfolding in Venezuela, and have seen in Cuba and Zimbabwe where the Political swamp dwellers in Wash. DC, were taking us.
Bush stands as a sterling example of what’s wrong with the GOP. America has moved on and the leadership has ignored that fact. Donald Trump hasn’t! Trump is a fighter and the GOP leadership isn’t. They don’t know how. Bipartisanship is a death wish and since Trump’s election, the “collectivists” of all parties, have gone nuts. In this first year so far, Trump has accomplished more to rescue America from the evils of Obama’s socialism than have decades of political ‘go along to get along’ policies with their silly ‘hands across the aisle’ and political camaraderie nonsense between looters. American’s are sick of it and that’s why we now have Donald Trump.
Bush came out to protect his “Compassionate Conservatism” brand of Americanism that happily embraced the Socialist enemy, the Democrats, as bipartisan co-equals in promoting Americas health and happiness. The Establishment Republicans, for decades, have missed the whole point of the cunning scheme the Democrats have employees to “fundamentally change America.” They’re still confused as John McCain so clearly demonstrates.
The Democrats, employing Saul Alinsky’s Rules for Radicals as their battle plan, have set Americas political agenda almost since the candidacy of George McGovern in 1972. They have plotted against American conservative values with tactics of political correctness, diversity, multiculturalism, racism, remorse and lies while the Establishment GOP’ers have totally failed to realize the serious damage their bipartisanship was doing to America.
Ultimately, content with second place by enjoying the scraps of political comradeship allotted to them by the Democrats, they finally achieved total power with promises unkept, promises never intended to be kept, totally unprepared to govern, and demonstrably incapable of doing so now that they do have both houses of Congress. They have been left reeling in horror when a fighting President finally puts their feet to the fire and forces them to make Constitutional decisions contrary to their usual norms of capitulation to Democrats.
The Democrats have all but destroyed themselves. They are in disarray across the entire country and divided in even knowing which direction to take their party: to the middle or further left. The Democrats still in Congress are incapable of doing anything other than obstruct and delay and the Republicans let ‘em get away with it. Republican leadership, or whatever it’s called, simply doesn’t have the killer instinct to drive a stake into the heart of the vampire Socialist Democrat party, even prostate as they are. They still speak of bipartisanship.
Reading the text of Bush’s speech, I just imagined it was spoken by Bill Clinton. There was nothing said that Clinton or even Barack Obama wouldn’t have said which explains why Bush’s presidency was a failure. Even Nancy Pelosi, despite reports of her oncoming dementia, still insists on impeaching Donald W. Bush. The Republicans don’t recognize they are in a fight for America’s soul. The fraternity club they have co-existed in is rapidly coming to an end so, they can dry off Bush and send him back to his burrow. He’s not needed anymore. Can Gun Violence be Controlled?
This business about free Americans owning guns, it seems, is not going away. The overwrought, dysfunctional left simply won’t let it go using any opportunity to try to seize our guns. “Never let a crisis go to waste” has long been their motto. The Las Vegas massacre is the current issue they hang their hats on to pursue their primary objective, the total disarming of America, the 2nd Amendment be damned. “People are dying by guns; only total confiscation can stop the carnage; nullify the 2nd Amendment, etc. & etc….”
The Las Vegas shooting is still on the minds of most Americans and will be for awhile because it involved guns in the hands of a white male. As no connection to any conservative group has been reported by the media, it therefore follows that the Mandalay shooter must have been a registered Democrat. If he wasn’t, the Alt-media would have never let us forget it.
To the “Left” guns, legally in the hands of free, independent Americans, is the worst possible thing that they can imagine. But, crime statistics do not support the Left’s claims of a vast count of criminal deaths by guns. No matter, because statistics that do not support their positions are irrelevant, lies made up by the NRA. One third of all gun deaths are suicides. Most of the rest are murders in Chicago, Baltimore, LA, and other urban centers of cultural enlightenment.
The rush to legislate guns by ignorant politicians, exclusively Democrats, constitutes their perennial assault on our Constitution, especially the 2nd amendment. The 2nd Amendment gives American citizens the right to possess firearms. The Left contends that our Founders simply could not foresee advancements in modern technology. They claimed that arguments today about why the Founders considered gun possession as a right enshrined in the Bill of Rights, don’t apply by today’s standards. Nonsense! They apply because of today’s standards.
In Colonial America, citizens had to have guns to defend themselves as well as provide meat for the table. The founders knew government couldn’t defend citizens from robbers, thieves and hostile Indians. Governments charge was, and still is, to defend America from foreign attack. Otherwise, you’re basically on your own. So, what’s changed?
What they do not consider is that while firearms existed in the 1700’s and on, so did vehicle’s, hammers, hatchets and axes. It was the black powder gun and the horse drawn wagon that experienced a rapid change by technology but, it was only firearms that were protected by the Constitution as an “inalienable right.” Vehicles hatchets, and hammers were not. Why?
How many murders are occurring today using vehicles? Enough to give us pause when we go out, yet there is no outrage from the Left. More people are murdered yearly with hammers than are killed by guns. Should the left demand that government totally confiscate hammers?
What’s is not seen in our press are the almost daily reports of murderous atrocities committed by Islamic Jihadists against host country citizens throughout Europe, and even here in America and Canada, using knives, cars and home made bombs.
Are Americans becoming immune to gun violence? Can we trust Government to protect us when we need them, like ‘right now’ for instance? We know the answer to that. Of course not. So, keep your guns clean, keep ‘em oiled and keep ‘em legal. The “Left”, they are out to get us!

“President Trump, being an outsider and business guy, is driving consensus between Republicans and Democrats to fix our legal immigration system. Today’s White House meeting was to define the scope of this negotiation to include four items: solving the DACA situation, addressing border security, ending chain migration, and eliminating the outdated visa lottery. President Trump is trying to instill a sense of urgency to get something done on immigration, but this topic should not be part of funding the federal government. My personal focus continues to be on how we eliminate chain migration, which is a fundamental flaw in our current immigration policy. If any conversation about DACA is being held without that consideration, it is not going to go anywhere in the United States Senate. The first thing a DACA recipient will do if given permanent status is use chain migration laws to sponsor those who violated the law originally. Ending chain migration and eliminating the outdated visa lottery program is in our national security and economic interest. President Trump has done a great job making sure this remains a top priority in any immigration discussion.”
