Short Takes – A Return to the Draft? A Memorial Day Thought

Suggestions are swirling again about a return to the draft. For those born after the 1960’s, the draft was compulsory military service for two or more years. Throughout America’s history from the Civil War to Vietnam, different rules governed who was drafted, how one could get a deferment or a buy out, or get a political commission to work his time on a staff. That was all rife for abuse, and, it was abused.
Deferments were applied to account for medical reasons like, say flat feet and lung diseases, but a medical officer at the induction stations would make that decision. If you got your notice, you had to show up for induction and if you passed, your life changed forever.
Political deferments for celebrities, politicians and sons of politicians, like Ted Kennedy, were created while many others, stood up, begging their way into uniform. John Kennedy and his older brother did so. They weren’t famous then but their father had been US Ambassador to the UK. Hollywood stars flocked to the ranks during WW2 and did their duty as the government needed, including combat.
The draft was a numbers system, most draftees going into the army. With usable skills, one could be enrolled in a technical program for training as a mechanic, medic, or radio operator, otherwise, it was into one of the combat arms, Infantry sucking up the most. Only a few draftees ever went into the US Marine Corps or the Navy, because they filled their needed quota’s with volunteers. Many escaped the draft by school deferments and some when drafted, ran away to hide. During the Vietnam war, it was to Canada.
Many, eager to fight, volunteered to join a combat arm. That’s where the action was. For many, it wasn’t until they were covered with blood, sweat and the brains of their buddies, that they realized the awful truth about combat. It’ was then when a boy became a man and what he experienced would stay with him for the rest of his life. Every Memorial Day reveals more of these stories as the old Vet’s pass away.
Since 9/11, the military has had no problem filling its ranks with volunteers.These patriotic young people, with a few exceptions like Bowie Bergdahl, stay the course and remained loyal active members of their units. Many re-enlist to continue the fight and many comeback without limbs, emotionally traumatized or forever needing care. Some alas, never come back.
America celebrates these fighters twice a year, Memorial day and Veteran’s day when the sacrifices of our military men and women are recognized and honored. How many people do you see today stand to attention when the American flag passes in review? Veterans always do. It’s honor and sacrifice.
The problem with a return of the draft today is that most of our youths are not qualified. They have been subverted by an education system, its teaching ranks filled with the anti-war radicals from the 1960’s, like the Clintons. Our schools have failed to educate our young people about Americas traditional values and why we fight, or have lied about our history making it hateful. That’s a sad but true fact. The one great pool of true Americanism, the Boy Scouts, is being perverted into a potential pool for pedophiles.
Do we need a return to the military draft? I don’t think so! To recreate a program that expects its personal to perform, even to die on a battlefield, but turns many of them into deserters requiring efforts by the military to keep them, was never good for moral. Cowards in the ranks reveal themselves quickly and their whining can bring the moral of a whole unit down to their level of defeatism. Too, a new draft would now necessarily demand the inclusion of our daughters. Those that want to go, can do so now. Those that don’t, should stay home and tend the home fires. Today, on this Memorial Day, just be thankful Hillary Clinton’s not President. That’s worth cheering about.

The Weaponization of Allegations…
The title alone suggests another trip into “fake news.” Fake news is propaganda, lies enveloped in a tissue of half-truths and innuendos, wrapped in a blanket of sordid allegations all once protected by the once immense power of the fourth estate, the media that wields it.
At the moment, the weaponized allegations are focused on supposed sexual predators, mostly Liberal men, politicians in DC, celebrities in Hollywood and notables in the media. One woman, also a democrat, has been caught up in the mess. They have brought these problems on themselves. Logically, this entire issue of demonizing predatory sex could accomplish for the Left, what their love for abortions is not doing, effectively reducing the population.
Normal people may find it too politically incorrect to engage in the natural mating process in fear of allegations of being anti-transexual, anti-gay, anti-pervert and anti-social, by their definition of course. If the feminists get control of the issue look out. There will be no reprise for the male species. Wielding the power of unsubstantiated allegations may be fatal to Democrats.
Politically, the weaponization of allegations were launched against Donald Trump over a year ago, to little effect because he fights back. Allegations that Trump’s early morning “tweets,” as non-Presidential and dangerous, are not because they believe he is demented or out of touch with reality but because Trump, by being first out of the block each morning, sets the news agenda for the day, as he wants it, not as the media wants it. By ten o’clock each morning, the media’s weaponization of allegations are already exposed and have little or no effect on how Trump runs his administration. They respond to him not the other way around. Trump is a wealthy man, in the media limelight and usually, women came after him. Besides, nobody out here really cares. He’s doing the job they don’t want done and they are going berserk for it.
The “Left” will scream out allegations against whomever they don’t like, especially Trump, and weaponize them by constant repetition until every network is talking about it and the object of that attack finally gets the message to retire from the game. Except Trump! These have rarely been directed to Democrats until a rich, fat, Democrat supporter named Harvey Weinstein broke the dam of media protections. They can’t stop the flood that’s sweeping all away.
The sexual predators issue has clearly backfired on the media because even their own overpaid luminaries are being eliminated based upon the sheer weight of allegations that’s crushing the poor blighter down into the weeds. Judge Roy Moore was such a victim and because of it, we have an abortionist voting Democrat as a Senator from Alabama.
Climate Change skeptics for example, are accused of being “deniers,“ potential killers of coastal dwelling Americans, sure to drown as the rising tides inevitably engulfs them all. Women and children will be the worst hit. In Defense, the media, when caught with their pants down, most often claim an allegation was simply a mistake and that “mistakes are precisely the reason people should trust the media.” Well, yes, real mistakes can be forgiven but not from the media who have assumed the position as enemy of the Constitutional Americanism.
What we really have here is a struggle between conflicting ideologies, the Marxist/Socialist one of the Democrats eagerly supported by the media, and the American Constitutional one that President Trump is trying to restore, eagerly supported by us “deplorables.” Democrats are in a hole. Renegade Cities
Progressivism has so poisoned America and Americans, that we are left stunned by the Jury’s Kate Steinle’s murder verdict in San Francisco and stagger in disbelief when a clear case of homicide against a multi-felony count illegal alien intruder, who casually shot to death a woman on a San Francisco Pier with a stolen gun, was acquitted of the crime by a “jury of his peers.”
Were his peers illegal aliens too? Probably not. Juries are selected from tax or voter rolls, not from street corner loafers. Illegals do not go on record so they don’t pay taxes unless making a purchase. Therefore, the deep reach of Progressivism, as we have long suspected, must have poisoned the population of San Francisco taxpayers and turned them into real versions of brain dead zombies. No other answer could possibly explains the jury’s outrageous decision.
This shocking verdict will have consequences, and they will be intended. For the many of America’s renegade cities, like San Francisco, this verdict will be the key that energizes a slow to anger citizenry to renew calls to defund Renegade cities and build the wall. Also, it will help sweep away Progressivism in our Federal judiciary, like the 9th District Court of Appeals with their myriad of unconstitutional rulings that encourage, indeed support, sanctuary cities. This verdict should focus all eyes on the total and complete dysfunction of Progressivism and hasten its demise, not that they’re not already doing a good enough job of it themselves.
If American’s do not feel safe, and are not safe on their own streets for which they pay high taxes to maintain and protect, then the ground swell of hate and discontent will overwhelm the local political system and sweep all the buggers away into history. I believe it will mark a whole change in America’s course back to Constitutionalism. It had better do!
San Francisco, in its Barbary Coast days of the Gold Rush, rapid growth, agriculture and trading across the Pacific, also found a rapid growth of crime and a weak or nonexistent system of law enforcement, occasionally composed of individuals appointed as Sheriff’s, Marshall’s, and Constables because of their notoriety as gunfighters and tough guy’s. But they too were overwhelmed if not suborned by the criminal elements and, to the chagrin of the hapless citizens, violent street crimes continued almost unabated. So, alarmed elements of honest merchant class citizens, organized themselves into para-judicial groups variously called “Vigilantes or Regulators.” It ushered in a short but bloody period of much needed social correction.
Criminals were soon found hanging from trees in areas outside the cities. This alarmed the city fathers who quickly saw the need for the development of a police force that would enforce the laws officially and protect the citizenry. Vigilantism in San Francisco soon disappeared and serious crime soon abated, until, that is, this new era of Progressive “Sanctuary Cities.”
Renegade City’s that protect criminality (illegal aliens), and order the official police forces to protect them are in serious danger of facing some form of retribution. People need to protect themselves and their families and, if the police and politicians won’t do it, the law of unintended consequences will certainly intrude. San Francisco today is not like the San Francisco of the 1800’s. While petty street crimes still exist, gunfighters generally do not. Mostly, now, criminals are protected by the edict of local Commie governments all supported by a few local and Federal courts. It’s going to come to a head and sooner than they think! So, beware!

A Best Veteran’s Day Speech

For nearly two decades, Veterans Day in Gilmer County, Ga., has been a big event, celebrated with a parade, music, marching veterans in uniform, flags, the Gilmer Co. High School Band and chorus, free breakfasts and after parade lunches for vets. The schools also participate with prize money offered in essay and poster contests. A few times we have even enjoyed the thrill of fly overs by reserve aviation unites or CAP planes. Even a out of county High School ROTC Unit has asked to participate in the parade for the past several years. It’s always a busy day and always includes, as the main speaker, some dignitary or other, often a military officer, returned from a war zone, a local business personality or some other recognizable name.
This year, 2017, the invited guest speaker was Georgia’s own Speaker of the Georgia Assembly, and our state representative, The Honorable, Mr. David Ralston and also, a friend of mine. The following essay is the excellent speech, (verbatim) of speaker Ralston this year and was, in my opinion, just too good not to share:
“Good morning. What a beautiful day to be in Gilmer County!
I stand before you today as one who is proud to be an American. I am proud to be in Gilmer County. I am proud and honored to be a part of this very special occasion to honor our veterans for their service and sacrifice. Nothing I can say will full express the enormous debt of gratitude we owe to those who have served our nation in our military.
I want to thank everyone who helped put this spectacular display of patriotism on this morning. I particularly want to thank all of the students who have participated in today’s festivities. You all have helped us show that the American spirit is alive and well in North Georgia! Serving as Speaker of your House of Representatives as well as your State Representative is an honor for which I am thankful each and every day.
I know our political dialogue isn’t as kind as it once was. We’ve got some divisions that need healing. But we are so much better off than many other nations in the world. Here we are free to discuss and debate our disagreements. We can come to a table with different views and reason together. We have open, free and fair elections that put each and every one of us on a level playing field. That’s not the case in North Korea. That’s not the case in Zimbabwe. That’s not the case in Cuba. That’s not the case in Venezuela.
But here in this great nation, you and I are free. I am free to take a knee when I pray and I am free to stand with pride when the National Anthem is played or the Pledge of Allegiance is recited. In so many other parts of the world, people don’t enjoy the freedoms we enjoy. Their decisions are made for them. Their leaders are selected by others. The information they get is filtered for them by others. In 2017 when so many nations around the world are free – it can be hard to remember the millions of our brothers and sister who aren’t. Why do they still suffer under tyrants and dictators and we don’t? — Our men and women in uniform.
Our service members and veterans who have stood up to serve this one nation – under God – indivisible – say it with me – “with liberty and justice for all.” Throughout our history, America has been attacked by those who don’t value freedom. Whether it was the Axis powers in World War II or today’s terrorists from ISIS or Al Qaeda, Americans have always had the protection of our armed forces.
In the noise of today’s 24-hour news cycle, service and sacrifice aren’t qualities that we hear much about. That’s a shame. Yet there are heroes who live in communities each and every day – our mothers and fathers, sons and daughters, neighbors and friends – the veterans of our armed forces.
If anything, I hope today reminds us that no matter what happens, there are good and decent patriots who have stood up to defend our freedoms. They have offered to make the ultimate sacrifice and lay down their lives, if necessary, to protect this nation and its citizens. In the Book of John, Jesus tells us that “greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends.”
By stepping forward and volunteering to serve, each member of our Army, Navy, Air Force, Marines, Coast Guard and Reserves offers to do just that. So today is a day that we pause to honor and celebrate their collective service and sacrifice. Today we rededicate ourselves to supporting our veterans and showing them the gratitude they deserve.
So long as the sun rises and the stars come out at night, this nation will remain a beacon of hope and opportunity for every oppressed person around the globe. They dream of one day enjoying the freedoms we enjoy. They dream of the limitless possibilities that exist in America.
And so long as our armed forces keep watch, this nation will stand proudly as the land of the free and the home of the brave. May God bless our veterans and our United States of America. Thank you!”

A Week of Disasters
Where does one begin to reflect upon this weeks events? How does one devalue any American’s military service? We saw it start in the 1960’s when G.I.’s returning from Vietnam were spat upon, harassed and disrespected by the Communist influenced radicals who refused military service, organized demonstrations against ROTC programs and fought police on the streets. This was the era that spawned the Clinton’s. Gratefully, It’s almost over, we hope.
We see the NFL register their disrespect every weekend at game day, and we saw it again when the US Army deserter and traitor, Bowie Bergdahl walked out of a military court at Fort Bragg, NC, a man free of further punishment because a “snowflake” Obama officer, Col. Jeffery R. Nance, didn’t like the Commander-in-Chief’s comments about exchanging Bergdahl for five Muslim terrorist generals and opening that Bergdahl, who did not serve with honor or distinction, should be executed. It appears the inmates are still in charge of the institution.
But, Bergdahl isn’t free. He will forever be imprisoned by his cowardice, waiting and wondering when the retribution that settles scores will surely come. He will forever be looking over his shoulder, sleeping in different bedrooms every night, moving from place to place seeking the anonymity he so desperately craves and will never get. In the end, he will kill himself. He must!
Bergdahl’s treachery, and the court martial judges decision, is a burden almost too heavy to bear. Bergdahl will realize the approbation he so richly deserves and it will hound his thoughts to the grave, unlike his Commander-in-Chief, Obama, who nearly succeeded in neutering the very essence of a military’s strength with his transgender, homosexual policies of socialization. Bergdahl is a product of that socialization experiment.
That leaves us with 26 year old Devin P. Kelly, a once Air Force member awarded a Bad Conduct Discharged with a sad social media history of malfunctioning brain cells, who committed the awful murders in that Texas church. He was a deranged single white male with a personal history of violence, anger and hate. Immediately, the media screams “gun control, gun control,” yet we saw that a good man with a gun, can stop a bad man with a gun. The second amendment is non-negotiable by the way. Kelly’s in-laws were members of that church.
What the “Left” loves to do is immediately try to connect the murderers to Tea Party or conservative Republicans. If their search is not rewarded, and they’re now careful not to make rash assumptions, they report nothing at all. In this case, their search has not revealed Kelly’s political affiliation and, as we know if he had been a registered Republican, they would have screamed about it at once. Therefore, he had to have been a Progressive Democrat.
That brings us to sorting out the plethora of suggestions now flooding in about how to stop these awful shootings. What is apparent, and always ignored, is that thus far, all of America’s mass killings with guns and cars, were committed either by Muslims or Liberal Progressives. No NRA members yet. The Texas murders seriously suggests that to prevent these types of assaults in the future, anybody registered as a “Democrat” should be denied gun ownership. It only figures.
The Texas shooter had an Irish name. The Irish have devolved a long history of rebellion, shootings, and killings. Should the Irish among us be denied the right of Constitutional self-protection because one of their number committed an outrage at a small country church? Maybe not because he was Irish but because he was a Liberal/Progressive. Yes, that will do.

Time to Fish or Cut Bait

“United we stand, divided we fall.” Where have we heard that before and how many times? Our nation is not united as the media keeps reminding us. But, it’s true! The division began in ernest with LBJ’s Great Society, a socialist scheme supposedly to level the playing field for all Americans to enjoy America’s bounty, skills and ability be damned. Both of America’s political parties couldn’t wait to implement LBJ’s wonderful plan, not because it was Constitutional, but because politicians all wanted to look good to the vast pool of potential poor voters.
The two parties appeared to want to out do each other but, these many years later, we know that the Progressive Left had already suborned the Democrat party and, under the guise of the party of FDR, presumed to undo Americas exceptionalism by introducing multiculturalism, and diversity, change its educational goals to re-cast American history and denigrate its Christian religion. First, they destroyed the black family by their welfare schemes to ensure the enslavement of black Americans to the Democrat party, for ever.
Enter another rub, Affirmative Action, a patently unconstitutionally, wicked scheme that at a stroke, tipped the level playing field to favor America’s non-producers, to the detriment of America’s productive work force. That it was aimed to assist our black population was the noble goal. But, for blacks, It was a “fish or cut bait” scheme leaving the streets littered with failed, unemployable black males without family obligations, income or hope.
Over fifty years later, a new President is returning the rule of law that will make the Constitution work the way it was intended. When our Americans of African descent finally realize this, they will succeed not only as a culture but as successful Americans. Many already have. The fifty plus years of liberalism’s dysfunction is coming to an end, as it surely must.
To be effective, political party’s must also stand united. Their first duty is to the Constitution. But, the Socialist-Democrat party is in disarray. Do they go all in for Marxism or move to the center to challenge Republicans? The Republicans are in disarray because having sipped the wine of political privilege they became intoxicated with their individual power. Now that they have it, they don’t know how to handle it. They are not united because they have lost the trust of their conservative voter base. It’s the Humpty-Dumpty fable in real time.
The bewildered GOP leadership, apparently not yet having fully recovered from the catatonic shock that Trumps election gave them, still believe that because they now hold the reins of government and party discipline in their soft little hands, all Republicans should stand united in supporting their program, you know, the one they talked about for seven years, to repeal and replace Obamacare. Suddenly, they were caught in a lie. They don’t want to replace Obamacare because those same poor voters won’t vote for them, they think.
The GOP has yet to accept that President Trump is now in charge. To the causal observer, the vast sums of taxpayer money paid to insurance companies as cost sharing subsidies by Obama’s Executive Order, were funds not authorized by the Congress as the Constitution demands and are therefore, null and void effective immediately. Trump did it around the GOP Congress and neither the Congress nor Liberal Judges can arrest the stoppage.
If GOP politicians expects to enjoy the support of their voter base, they had better get behind President Trump and stop this silly #Never-Trump nonsense. For individual politicians, its definitely a “fish or cut bait” proposition. America can’t afford any more nonsense.
Americas Voice of Conscience?

America’s Voice of Conscience?
For some incomprehensible reason the noted historian and farceur, Jimmy Kimmel, from his national late night TV platform, in a typically leftist screed of emotional anti-self defense propaganda after the Las Vegas mass murders, sought to tell Americas what the founding fathers really thought about the possession of firearms by American’s. He contended that the Founders did not foresee modern technology. He claimed that arguments today about why they set out to defend gun possession in the Bill of Rights, no longer apply to today’s standards.
Who in the world had the gall to claim that Jimmy Kimmel was America’s Voice of Conscience?To be a voice of anything, people have to listen to you, a lot of people in fact, and they have to agree with what you’re saying. Jimmy simply doesn’t qualify. Our president does.
Jimmy K. missed the point, didn’t he? The founders understood that personal possession of firearms was necessary to enable Americans to defend themselves from brigands, robbers, hostile Indians, British soldiers and, as Thomas Jefferson pointed out, even the government.
The primary purpose for possessing firearms, apart from hunting and sport shooting which only a small number of people do today, is encapsulated in the desire for self-defense or more correctly, survival. It does not involve the changing technology of weapons. It is self-defense!
Firearms are nothing more than the assembly of predesigned pieces of metal, fit together into an operating system, designed to strike a firing device to ignite an explosive (gun powder) to propel a missile (lead ball) down a barrel directed to an object, and hit the object. Cold steel.
The Las Vegas mass murders by firearms, was another shock to the nation and a conundrum to law enforcement in that the wealthy, white shooter, who took his own life before he could be apprehended, didn’t leave a trail to be followed that would have revealed his motive. That he probably had too many firearms for a sport shooter or a hunter is a lingering question to be answered. Why records of multiple gun purchases by a single individual over a months or so period didn’t arouse official suspicion, is another question to be asked.
Modern computing systems for gun sales, coordinated with state law enforcement intelligence units should be a consideration. That’s why police departments, at all levels, have intelligence units to pre-determine (educated guesses) potential mischief against public safety.
The Las Vegas incident focused the eyes of Law Enforcement on Americas biggest weakness, mass gatherings of unarmed people at entertainment venues. Sad examples already exist, in Birmingham, UK, Orlando, Fl. and San Bernardino, Ca. so, the Las Vegas shooting could have been anticipated. Some type of attack should have been guessed at or at least supposed.
Las Vegas appears to be a premier example of apparent unconcern about potential violence, a “It won’t happen here” attitude. But, it did! The concert crowd, out in the open as they were, could have as easily been mowed down by motor vehicles, a cheap and very effective method of spreading terror used effectively by Islamic terrorists. Vehicles are the machines of today’s advanced transportation modes, up from ox carts and buggies that our founders rode around in. Vehicles didn’t even make it into the Constitution, but firearms did. If the ‘Left’ ever succeeds in negating the 2nd Amendment, they’ll play hell enforcing it. Jimmy Kimmel isn’t the voice of conscience, he’s one of the Left’s “useful idiots” Stalin talked about.

Who Controls the Press Corps?

Clearly, daily White House press corps gatherings are losing their allure and their effectiveness.
Thrill seekers disguised as reporters or worse, journalists, primarily of the Liberal-Progressive
bent, are intent on making themselves the news by challenging the press secretary’s every
comment including her weight, size, candor and/or her intelligence, not to mention the President
himself, not by asking questions pertinent to current issues but by taking irresolute stands
contrary to the facts and demanding answers even when told to sit down and shut up. Their
obnoxiousness is mind numbing and the whole business should be abandoned.
The White House controls the news briefings not Jim Acosta or the other Liberal creatures
dedicated to the Presidents destruction. These people are functionally illiterate, solely dedicated
to challenging the administration at any and every level of the daily news cycle, intent only on
becoming famous themselves.
Perhaps this daily event should no longer be televised, just audio recorded. Perhaps a bulletin
board could be erected on the street where daily items of interest can be posted by a WH press
staffer. Many even a chap with a bell, at noon, crying “hear ye, hear ye,” I don’t know, but this
crazed media frenzy has gotten out of hand and needs to be returned to civility or abandoned.
So, what is the news? Thousands of immigrants in a caravan, declaring their intentions to seek
amnesty in America, do constitute an invasion. The Liberal press spends their face time on such
trivial matters challenging the president directly as to his definition of what’s an invasion. I know
what one looks like, don’t you? While America faces challenges from winning Democrats,
determined to make America Socialist, the silence that falls from the normally boastful democrat
side is ignored. What do they know that we don’t? Something big is going on out there and it’s
being ignored for who defines what constitutes illegal immigrants.
These WH press people, in the face of more news of mass shootings by one deranged person,
will challenge gun laws as ineffective while ignoring the deranged person. They don’t want a
solution, they want an issue to thrash the president with and gun laws don’t do it anymore.
Other interesting happenings all but ignored by the WH press corps was AG Jeff Sessions
departure, his temporary replacement, who is to be the new US Ambassador to the UN, who’s
the new WH lawyer? what’s the view on the potential inditement’s soon to flow against the multi-
level layers of Obama’s hangers-on still in government who have, and still are, actively engaged
against the government?
The post-election news cycle revealed, but isn’t discussed, the fact that every candidate
Trump stumped for won their election because the candidate threw in with a successful
president; and every candidate Obama stumped for, lost. Everyone! That should be newsworthy
. It might explain why the Democrats aren’t boasting as they usually do.
Speaking of which, Nancy Pelosi faces imminent danger. First, she entering a realm of extreme
dementia as her performance at press conferences demonstrate. Coherent thought, recall of
people, places and things turn into babble and she faces a hostile democrat cacuse of young
leftists determined to replace her before she sinks the little hope remaining for survival the

Trump has moved America so far beyond Obama’s era of compliancy, apathy, and despair that
Obama has personally taken to the stump to stem the Red tide. We’re in a new “great
awakening “of what it means to be a prosperous, industrious, hard working nation of achievers.
That will not do for Socialists or advocates of the New World Order.
There’s more news today about Obama hitting the campaign trail to save his pathetic legacy,
than there is about the bomber from Miami, the caravan from Honduras or the mental
breakdown many of MSNBC and CNN’s entertainers are suffering on camera.
Obama is making fiery teleprompter speeches to dozens of admirers to try to stem the Red Tide
that could signal the final demise of the Democrat Party. Obama himself put the party’s
existence into jeopardy when as president, he all but ignored the party entirely, indeed helped
Hillary drain its coffers while local and state Democratic losses started mounting.
For Obama, Marxism is his catechism, weakness and ineptitude is his policy and arrogance is
his worst enemy, i.e.: “I think that I’m a better speechwriter than my speechwriters. I know more
about policies on any particular issue than my policy directors. And I’ll tell you right now that I’m
gonna think I’m a better political director than my political director.”
At midwest speaking venues in Milwaukee and Detroit, Obama claimed Trump and Republicans
were just “making stuff up.” Without mentioning Trump by name he said this midterm election
(2018) was about the “character of our country.” Obama cited a recent Trump comment that he,
(Trump) would pass a tax cut (a second one) before the November election then told the crowds
that “Congress isn’t even in session before the election! He just makes it up!” Look it up!
Obama then told a truth: ”Here’s the thing. Everything I say you can look up.” Yes, Barak, we
can: ”If you like your doctor, you can keep your doctor. If you like your health care plan, you can
keep your health care plan.” Then Obama sets about describing himself: ”What we have not
seen before in our public life is politicians just blatantly, repeatedly, baldly, shamelessly, lying.
Just making stuff up, calling up, down. Calling black, white. That’s what your governor (Walker)
is doing with these ads, just making stuff up.” Look it up!
Now Obama wants to claim the rocketing economy as his. After the 2016 election, Bloomberg
reported that: “Trump was inheriting a stable and improving economy compared to the economy
that Obama inherited.” It is from this assertion that Obama now claims: ”When you hear all this
talk about economic miracles right now, remember who started it,” but what Bloomberg failed to
mention was that “the standards and statistics by which they measured economic improvement,
were entirely fraudulent. You can look that up too!
Clinton and her private email server featured in an Obama comment. He said: “Trump used
Hillary’s ‘server’ crimes to try to scare the heck out of people before every election.” He even
trash talked about Trump’s cellphone usage saying the Chinese heard everything he said.
Obama: ”In the last election, it was Hillary’s emails. He quoted Trump: ’This is terrible’ … ‘This is
a national security crisis.’ Obama: They didn’t care about emails and you know how you know?
Because if they did, they’d be up in arms right now that the Chinese are listening to the
president’s iPhone that he leaves in his golf cart.” What?
Listening to Obama stammer and stumble his way through a Castro like speech event is painful
as well as boring, especially as his facts, comments, and opinions won’t stand the muster of
examination. By the way, forget snopes.com. It’s a progressive site that obscures the truth.
Obama intimated that Trump’s concerns about a caravan, especially as the thousands of, well,
how did Obama phrase it?: “a bunch of impoverished, malnourished refugees a thousand miles
away,” are headed here from Honduras, were more important than “health care, whether or not
folks are able to retire, doing something about higher wages, rebuilding our roads and bridges
and putting people back to work.” Say what? Have you looked closely at the photos of those
overfed, clean, prosperous Honduran travelers out on their walk-about?” I think Obama went
into his very short Rip Van Winkle routine on jobs, the economy, and retirement. Barak, you can
look that up as well, it’s in nearly all the papers.
I think Barak worries that he himself could face inditement for involvement in crimes associated
with his former Secretary of State because he rails on about not having anyone in his
administration indited for crimes. Well, that’s for sure when his Attorney Generals were Eric
Holder and Loretta Lynch, both facing probable inditement themselves. Obama: ”In Washington
they (Trump’s Administration) have racked up enough indictments to field a football team.
Nobody in my administration got indicted.” Don’t believe for a minute that Hillary Clinton or her
corrupt Foundation has escaped the scrutiny of Trump’s DoJ.
Obama told his admiring minions: ”I’m hopeful that despite all the noise, despite all the lies,
we’re going to come through all that. We’re going to remember who we are, who we’re called to
be. I’m hopeful because out of this political darkness, I’m seeing a great awakening.” Yes
indeed, for sure he is seeing a Great Awakening but, it’s not a Socialist one.
So, hang in there conservatives, be strong, be steadfast in the face of the Left’s confrontational,
deranged screaming idiots and vote Republican.

What is American Culture?
The once great American political party known as the Democrat party, has been replaced from within by an ethically diverse mishmash of political activists brought up, raised and trained in Marxism by America’s colleges and universities, long since factory’s of political correctness, anti-Americanism and socialism with the sole purpose of destroying America’s founding culture that has sustained us for over 250 years. Today, we see what damage they have done.
American culture encompasses the whole of the history of the discovery, exploration, conflicts and growth of America from the Pilgrims landing at Plymouth Rock to this very minute. This long process, started by Europeans, (whites) saw the introduction of social theories promoting personal liberty and civil rights, economic development and even classical literature that praised the social experiments of prior civilizations like Greece and Rome and embraced and learned from their discoveries. Most important of all was the introduction of universal education of the masses, a social concept first introduced in Scotland, so every child could read and know the scriptures. That opened the flood gates of knowledge and discovery.
Society developed with the movement from agriculture to industry. It was so rapid that the need for energy, from firewood to coal and then oil, outpaced the ability of humans to produce it resulting in the need of vast pools of labor. So great was the need that even children, let alone slaves, were thrown into the maw of the labor force and worked in such squalid conditions, coal mines for example, that a whole new industry of empathy was developed bringing to us the consciousness of the social evils of child labor and poverty that needed to be ended.
Laws lifting the burden of manual labor on children and returning them to the school desk for education and enlightenment, was another positive change. Labor unions developed to protect the rights of workers which themselves, were not without conflicts and differences of opinion.
A great civil war ensued that ended the odious practice of slavery. America was facing new challenging social issues and how to solve them. Not all problems are solvable by mere edict and can only be worked around the edges, like what to do with emancipated former slaves? Could their culture be absorbed into the American culture, one that was forged in the fires of revolutionary conflict? Were our social norms that are now locked in our very souls, not worth saving? They are the basis of America’s exceptionalism. What could replace them?
The African race has provided bright and intelligent new thinkers like Fredrick Douglas of the 1800’s, Martin Luther King Jr. of the 1960’s and even Herman Cain of today who have emerged to make effective marks on Americas culture and, while elements of racism existed from the beginning and still exists today and will continue to exist tomorrow, the roll of successful Black Americans in America’s history cannot be ignored. That was sealed with the Freedom March in Selma, Alabama, Martin Luther King’s famous “I have a dream” speech and his assassination.
Today, the Democrats have launched their version of fascism’s “Black Shirts” the hooded and masked “anti-facist’s” thugs, who are the very epitome of fascists, in attacks against our police on the streets, conservatives in restaurants and children wearing MAGA hats. The media is corrupted and complicit in the pursuit of America’s destruction. They participate willingly in obfuscating the truth, lying and praising socialism while diverting our attention with breathless, silly news items of absolutely no consequence while America burns, all designed to destroy the flower of Western Civilization. We must be prepared and help Trump vanquish the Left.

Big Government, What is It?
What the hell is going on up there? Mueller’s attempts to bring down Donald Trump because the “Left” demands it is a fiasco, a total mishmash of lies, innuendos, false reports, foreign spies and traitorous Obama administration officials at the highest levels of the FBI, CIA, DIA and DOJ, doing everything in their power to strip Americans of their prize, the swamp drainer in the White House. It’s the Deep State walking all over themselves trying to prove one thing while proving the other. Trump didn’t do it and Hillary did. So there!
This whole tawdry business of leftist political dysfunction, all because they thought the criminal, Hillary Clinton would be a “shoe in” for president instead of the Bronx Buffoon, Donald Trump, is telling. Conservatives must festinate the demise of the Democrats.
The evidence against Clinton’s criminality is so transparent, so pervasive and so prima facia conclusive that it’s incredible she’s not already in the dock. This includes her entire plethora of criminal hangers-on and job seekers willing to suborn their souls for socialism. It has already permeated the ranks of those we call the “Deep State” or the regulatory state, or the federal bureaucracy, however you wish to call it. The deep state also includes the world’s International banks, the military-Industrial complex, as “Ike” warned us to be aware of, and the education-union collaboration, among other corrupted groups. Follow the money.
The Deep State is the sole creation of Congress, several decades of ‘em in fact, a collection of bickering adolescents unable to do the job the Constitution has outlined for them. Instead, being too busy, they authorized the creation of countless bureaus, agencies and departments, each empowered to make the thousands of pages of rules and regulations in the Federal Register designed to control us, rob us of our freedoms and enslave us to big government.
The Left attacks us through political correctness on several fronts: the threats of climate change, racism, homophobia, Islamophobia, hate crimes, white privilege and the fearful armed citizen who stands in the way of their takeover control of a subdued America’s economic engine.
They fear armed Americans. As for climate change, any geologist or paleontologist can tell us about the earth’s history of climate change by just looking at fossils and exposed rock strata’s. Thats a non story. As for “Gun Control” that’s a protected right given to us in our constitution and must be defended at all costs, yet, the Left continues to attack the one thing they fear, freedom.
Conservatives must argue that the “Left” wants us disarmed, not because of school shootings or the odd murder or robbery. Those are mere tactics. Shootings won’t stop regardless of any more gun law, so confiscation is their answer. When we’re disarmed, we can’t protect ourselves from the hoodlums, gang members and car jackers who ignore the laws anyway.
If they succeed, the unarmed citizen, no longer able to defend himself, will have to demand government protect them and they can’t. Being armed is our right but how we feel about exercising that right doesn’t matter to them. it becomes clear that our “rights” as given to us by our Founders, are unalienable. The “Deep State” permits government to allow or rescind gun possession not upon the whims of a majority opinion (democracy) but by law.
Elections count and the socialist hoard of young millinials now clambering to become politicians have already drunk the “Kool Aide” of socialist poison that threatens our existence. Beware! Remember, freedom is the goal, the Constitution is the way. Now, go get ‘em! (03Aug18)

Are the Tea Party’s Moribund?
“Associated Press declares Republican ‘Tea Party’ era has faded away…..” Hummn? Maybe, but I disagree with the premise asserted here by noting that pop-up, grass root political organizations like Tea Party’s, were mostly filled with aroused, angry people born in the 40’s and 50’s, who lived through the WW2 years and beyond, and enjoyed America’s post-war heyday of economic growth, prosperity and good living, only to see their parents achievements being replaced by the corrupting philosophy’s of national socialism, the same socialism their parents had just defeated. It was their parents who were the “Greatest Generation” and today, their children tend to get a bit tired after they’ve accomplished what they set out to do.
Regardless of clearly commercial Internet Tea Party organizations that claim some primary roll over the movement, Tea Party’s were really local attempts to make a difference by people who realized their Representative were not doing what the base wanted but instead were spending without control and raising taxes to pay for it. Taxed Enough Already was the Tea Party’s mantra and still is. What they realized was, is that politics should not be a career choice.
Attending political meetings where you’re told what you already know and nothing really seems to get done, quickly loses its appeal. Most meetings are merely platforms for speech makers to energize the enthusiasm of the base to do one thing and one thing only, effect “term limits” one politician at a time and, that has been done.
Three successive national elections has completely changed the Congress from a majority of Marxist leaning Democrats and go along to get along Republicans happy not to have been kicked out by their constituents, to a majority of Republicans being pushed and cajoled by the few Tea Party members elected to replace dangerous democrats. More Changes are coming!
Time passes and enthusiasm wanes, but not the determination to make America great. The denizens of “fly-over” America have seen the results of their combined efforts to make the changes needed in the body politic. Enthusiasts, no matter how their called, Tea Party or GOP or whatever, have succeeded. The battle is joined.
At this moment, our President is Donald Trump, not a politician but a pragmatists, a doer who is doing what he promised he would and returning to Americans the pride they felt in their country that the previous administration apologized away. Weakness invites contempt. America is no longer weak.
The Tea Party movement encouraged a morose population of patriots to get off their butts and start changing their attitudes from defeatism and disheartening acceptance of the coming Socialism, to realizing the righteousness of America’s constitutional representative government, and connivence others to change their attitudes too. It worked in three successive elections.
Today, we see a rising tide of minority Americans of African descent realizing they have been kept on the lowest level of the economic plantation created by the Democrats, and are starting to rebel, despite what the Black Shirts of the Fascist anarchy movements, AntiFa and BLM, want. America is on the threshold of greatness and we need all our citizens involved in the task. That’s the promise Trump has brought us, and that’s the promise he’s keeping. Conservatives can no longer enjoy the policy of bipartisanship with an enemy that wants to destroy us.

What Just Happened?

What happened? Date line, Monday 22 Jan 2018: Inexplicably, Senate minority leader Chuckie Schemer rallied the Senate Democrats to support the Government funding bill. Suddenly there was a virtual stampede of Democrat Senators to vote with Republicans to send the CR bill to Trumps desk to continue the funding the US Government into March. “Get outta the way!”
The issue of course was based firmly in the belief by the Democrats geriatric leadership that the Republicans would flinch yet again and cave in to their demands, on top of the needs of the country, that illegal intruders (they can’t be immigrants if they’re illegal) be awarded amnesty simply because their parents dragged them across a border from their miserable countries into the United States so they could make America a miserable country too.
Chuckie Schumer completely lost sight of the Constitution and the rule of law that protects a governments sovereignty. It must have been Schumer’s thinking that if Americans won’t vote for Democrats, he’ll import people who will so, he wants to load up the voter rolls with the third world’s great unwashed and sought to do so by way of challenging Trump with an illegal immigrant showdown over government funding. Oops!
When it quickly became apparent that closing down government because Democrats demand that tax payers support 800,000 undocumented illegal invaders under such innocent sounding terms as DACA and CHIP, over the lawful funding of legal Americans like military soldiers, social security recipients, and etc., then their argument quickly loses its appeal.
Where did the 800,000 number that Democrats want amnesty for, come from? That’s essentially the number of illegals, aka: “Dreamers” who signed up for Obama’s amnesty program at its beginning. The actual number is closer to four million but, we’re told to Ignore the numbers, they are simple children brought here by their illegal invader parents and they must be helped. Democrats also ignore the fact that most of those “Dreamers” are now adults and the percentage who have not assimilated into becoming American’s, learn English and find employment is jaw dropping.
For example, the renegade State of California has now announced plans to allow illegals intruders who claim sanctuary and are entitled to a California drivers license and automatic registration on the voters rolls as well. What could go wrong here? I’ll tell you what’s wrong with that. Apart from neutralizing my legitimate vote, every state in the union has drivers license reciprocity with every other state in the union, including Canada and Mexico.
If California demeans the validity of their drivers licenses by the artifact of enfranchisement of illegal invaders, then the value of that California drivers license is demand beyond its borders. Automatically, they become unreliable and any of the forty nine other states plus Canada and Mexico, do not have to recognize that license. Tickets will be issued, drivers jailed, and cars impounded, all for lack of legitimate ID’s. Californians will be unable to drive beyond the borders of their state anymore. Who are these stupid people who think up these stupid ideas and expect the rest of America to accept them too?
Schumer overplayed his hand or lost his nerve and he caved. A first! The extreme Left of the Democrat party are now in a frenzy against Schumer’s leadership. That’s all well and good.
The motto is :”If you want to make America a S__thole country, vote Democrat!

Disintegration By Their Own Hand
The more Democrats take offense at Trump’s personality quirks, the more they try to create damming issues out of his ‘tweets,’ the more they struggle against the will of the voters who put Trump in office, the deeper they descend into the quicksand of the irrelevance they’re already facing. They are a wounded party that is seriously divided, and lacking adult leadership.
For example “Dickie” Durban, sat on a Senate committee arguing with the Secretary of the DHS about what word Trump actually said about S__t hole countries, that she was present at. Well, Dickie was there too. So what? Dicky reveals mendacity at its worse but he’s really exposing the Left’s descent into oblivion. Their dysfunction is evident and destructive, to them, and they don’t see it. Their disintegration is well underway.
The three Democrat senators and the three Republican senators, supposedly presenting a compromise DACA plan to the President like he asked for, actually didn’t present any new plan at all as Trump wanted, but offered instead a rehash of the Democrats same old compromise, amnesty for DACA’s or no spending bill.
And, as always, the compromise came in with the usual suspects in the GOP agreeing to the Democrat agenda. I thought that at the last election we were through with that nonsense. In other words, the Democrats have thrown the dice and are willing to shut down the government, thinking Trump will cave just like Republicans always do, thereby securing for them the future of the Democratic voting base. “Dickie” Durban even threatened Trump with withdrawing the support of the Congressional Black Caucus. It must have shocked him (Dickie) when Trumps told him he didn’t care about the CBC, their demands or what their opinion was. Trump fends off all such attacks from the hysterical Left leaving them bereft of suitable answers except obstruction.
Mueller’s investigation opened a veritable can of worms, for the Democrats. Mueller still threatens to interview Trump, under Miranda warning presumably, to attempt to extract any level of negative admission from him that could be hung around his neck. All this, while the case against Hillary Clinton’s negligence and gross mishandling of America’s Top Secret/SCI/NOFORN communications, felonies by the way, and her grubby hand in the Uranium One business, is regaining strength. Once that ball gets rolling it will sweep up all before it. Clearly, the institutional deep state wall that was protecting the Clintons is disintegrating.
The Clinton cabal of DoJ & FBI enablers and protectors is peeling off like onion skins beneath the knife and the eye stinging burn of criminal culpability is drawing attention to the mess that Clinton made. It’s a race to see who goes down first, Trump or Hillary. Today, new FBI Director Wray seems intent on mending the Bureau’s torn ties to Congress by dismantling the Comey led ring that enameled the Clintons and the DNC to wallow in criminality without consequence. As demanded, the FBI has finally delivered subpoenaed documents to Congress concerning the decision making process that led to Comey’s decision not to prosecute Hillary, or anyone else, for recklessly compromising national security. It’s a wide net being thrown and will harvest many.
Hillary was a damaged candidate and the Left wouldn’t believe it. If they did, it was ignored and against all pundit predictions, Hillary, the key to protecting the Deep State, lost her rigged election to a real non political firebrand, exactly what Americans wanted. No more giving in to demands of socialist Political Correctness. No more free flow of illegals and their strings of family, no more national socialism. Elections do have consequence.

The DOJ and the FBI…What’s Next?
Mueller’s Trump-Russia collusion investigation is all but dead. For all the months of investigation by Clinton partisan investigators at vast taxpayer expense, all they has to show for it is a miserable tally of petty offenses (lying to FBI agents), that have nothing to do with the “collusion with Russia” allegations that cost Hillary her expected post as America’s first female President.
The media coverage of President Trump is so negative that a weaker man than Trump would have wilted under that assault long ago. If Trump had conspired with Russia to steal the election from Hillary, the media would have found evidence of it early on. They didn’t and neither could Mueller. Congress could end the nonsense by simply defunding the Special Counsel, unless of course, Mueller found culpable evidence that the Hillary campaign and the DNC were, in fact, colluding with the Russians and moved on it. Oh, the humanity!
Exactly, what keeps this collusion story alive after a year of failures? It’s the dysfunctional Democrats and hysterical media who, in the face of facts to the contrary, conspire to keep their hopes for a socialist win alive. For them now, Hillary is a dead horse so it’s the issue of collusion that must be pursued. How they did that was to create, by their own hand, a bogus dossier, allegedly an opposition research report, circulate it among their DoJ and FBI syncopates, the NYT and Sen. John McCain, to give it credence, and blow the flames into a conflagration sure to burn the Trump Presidency into ashes. “Why, it’s a matter of “national security” so we must obtain a phony FISA warrant to spy on Trump, his family and associates.” Then, activate the deep state inbreds to create leaks, and watch the ship of state sink. Nope!
Many of Obama’s agency heads and upper level management, working together, could create much damage. Because they failed to undermine the shocking election result, the collusion story was concocted to justify a special counsel, staffed with Obama’s imbeds and prevent discoveries that were inimical to their case by revealing Hillary’s actual involvement.
I suspect the corruption of the FBI and DoJ started as early as the Clinton’s time in Arkansas, involving Hillary’s Whitewater land deal and the Rose Law firm investigations. By the time the Clintons finished their first term in the White House, the corruption was complete and cronies firmly in place to prevent possible backlashes to the Clinton’s criminal enterprise. The unravelling of that nest of crooks reveals a complicated list of characters all worthy of trial and imprisonment. They could start with former A.G. Eric Holder and his bogus Fast and Furious gun running operation that actually cost lives, both American and Mexican. His “hands up, don’t shoot,” program, plus the Clinton Foundation Pay to Play scheme and the Uranium One deal, among other crimes. All were ignored by then FBI Director Mueller.
Attorney General Loretta Lynch met secretly, she thought, with Bill Clinton on an Arizona airport tarmac ahead of the election, directing FBI director Comey to exculpate Hillary Clinton over “gross negligence” charges in her handling of classified emails when she was Secretary of State. James Comey, as FBI director, tied himself into knots trying to BS the American public about why Hillary would not be prosecuted.
While her campaign, it was learned, actually paid for the phony dossier, her potential power as President, was enough to move the DoJ and FBI to present the dossier as a worthwhile intelligence report sufficient to call for a domestic counterintelligence effort. Who approved it?
Well, lurking in the center of his web of intrigue, alert to every nuance from the connecting fibers of his network sat the one person responsible, aloof and uninvolved, but culpable because nothing worked without his knowledge or direction. It was President, Barack Obama. He alone is responsible.
No one in government would have dared behave as they did without the tacit approval of Barack Obama. His underlings knew exactly what he wanted, what was needed and performed accordingly, without the paper trail of potential accusation implicating him. Obama’s two attorney generals, his FBI director, his Commissioner of the IRS, and all the other agency heads served at his pleasure.
The corruption was visible, but the protections were too. Mueller’s feeble attempt to bring closure to Trump’s presidency has opened the door to exposure and let in the fresh disinfecting light of truth, revealing all. Let’s hope the new administration can act on it, without fear.
