Two arrested for drugs in Towns County

TOWNS COUNTY, Ga. – On Monday, March 10th, Towns County Sheriff’s deputies received a call with information concerning possible drug activity on Vista Road.

During the investigation it was determined a female, Rebeka Eichhold, had outstanding warrants in Cherokee County GA and Clay County NC.

Probable cause was established to conduct a search of the residence.

The search resulted in the confiscation of an amount of Methamphetamine which field tested positive, resulting in the arrest of two individuals.

Rebeka Renee Eichholz, age 28, Blairsville was arrested and charged with:

• Felony Trafficking Methamphetamine
• Felony Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute
• Felony Possession of Methamphetamine
• Possession and Use of Drug Related Objects

Kevin Ray Jones, age 36, Hiawassee was arrested and charged with:

Felony Possession of Methamphetamine
• Felony Possession of Methamphetamine with Intent to Distribute
• Felony Trafficking Methamphetamine
• Possession and Use of Drug Related Objects

Sheriff Ken Henderson would like to thank the concerned citizen that took the time to report suspicious activity stating “working together with the citizens of Towns County will continue to keep our county a safe place to live”
