Serial drug supplier identified in Towns County

TOWNS COUNTY, Ga – Towns County Sheriff’s Office has identified and arrested a serial drug supplier for the Towns, Clay, and Cherokee County NC area.
According to the Sheriffs Office, they have been investigating the known drug supplier for awhile and were able to arrest Alphonso Terrell Cloud, 39, on Monday, May 1st.
Cloud’s vehicle was searched in a traffic stop at Hwy 76 East/Hwy 288 by Towns County Sheriff’s Office K-9 Zeus.
K-9 Zeus alerted on the vehicle and a large amount of Methamphetamine laced with Fentanyl and raw Fentanyl was confiscated from the suspect.
According to Towns County Sheriff’s Office, these drugs were headed to known drug dealers in the Towns, Clay, and Cherokee County NC area.
Cloud was arrested and charged with Felony Trafficking in Methamphetamine, Felony Possession of a controlled substance with Intent to Distribute, Felony Possession of Methamphetamine, Felony Possession of a Controlled Substance, Felony Crossing Guard Line with Weapon/Drugs/Intoxicants and Obstruction of an Officer.
Sheriff Ken Henderson said he ‘is pleased to have a supplier of deadly drugs out of our community.’
