Towns County Schools close for Tuesday, February 16

Update: With deteriorating road conditions and temperatures continuing to drop Towns County Schools will operate virtually today. 12-month employees should report at 10 or when safe to do so.

TOWNS COUNTY, Ga – Towns County Schools issued a statement concerning classes on Tuesday, February 16, ahead of potentially icy conditions.

“Towns County Schools will operate on a two-hour delay Tuesday, February 16th due to the possibility for black ice in the morning and the announcement from Governor Kemp that all state offices in Georgia will operate on a two-hour delay for precaution.”
