The Humane Society Mountain Shelter invites the community to attend their 17th annual fundraiser, Puttin’ On The Dog, on Saturday, September 23, at 6:30 p.m. at North Georgia Technical College in Blairsville.

The “dress up or dress down” gala will feature dinner, live and silent auctions, and music.

Tickets are $35 and all proceeds will benefit animals in need.

The Humane Society Mountain Shelter is located at 129 Bowling Gap Circle in Blairsville and serves both Towns and Union counties.

Numerous animals are currently available for adoption, many of which can be seen on the Mountain Shelter Humane Society’s Facebook page.
