Each year, Towns County Sheriff Chris Clinton, the Chatuge Gun Club, and Towns County Sheriff’s CLEA members join efforts to raise money for the children of the Georgia Sheriffs’ Youth Homes. Community involvement and support has made this annual event a tremendous success each year. Many local businesses take part in the effort. This year, Brothers at Willow Ranch in Young Harris, donated 20% of the meals purchased by participating patrons on two separate evenings. On Wednesday, June 07, 2017, Sheriff Chris Clinton received a check for the Georgia Sheriffs’ Youth Homes from Michelle Barnard, a manager at Brothers at Willow Ranch, Young Harris. Incidentally, Brothers at Willow Ranch will also be catering the meal for the fundraising dinner to benefit the children of the Youth Homes. That event will be held Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 5:30 PM and will feature a meal, raffles, prizes, and live music by the Chris Clinton Band. Tickets are $25.00. There are only a few left. Tickets to the banquet can be purchased at the Towns County Courthouse in the Sheriff’s Office.
