Mrs. Mary Tiger age 94 of  Hiawassee passed away peacefully on Saturday February 11, 2017 in the Clay County Care center following an extended illness. Mrs. Tiger was born on Nov. 18, 1922 in Bedford England the daughter of the late Fredrick Jewell Harrison and the late Masie Jewell Harrison. She was a veteran of the British Observer Core. Mary loved growing flowers. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and great grandmother. She was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Venron S. Tiger Sr.in 1967. Mary was a member of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church.

Surviving Mrs. Tiger are one daughter, Susanne Tiger of Hiawassee, two sons and one daughter in law, John and Lynette Tiger of Babylon, NY., Vernon Tiger Jr. of West Islip, NY., one sister, Suzanne Martin of Port Charlotte, FL., seven grandchildren, one great grandchild, many other relatives and friends also survive.

A Funeral Mass and interment will be held at a later date from the St. Francis of Assisi Catholic Church and will be announced.
