Mr. Curtis Trent Garrett age 46 of Shake Rag Rd. Hiawassee passed away on Wednesday April 27, 2016 in the North East Ga. Medical Center following an extended illness.

Curtis was born on June 2, 1969 in Towns County, the son of Judy Ann Henderson Garrett and the late Joel Garrett. He was a native and lifelong resident of Towns County. Curtis loved camping, fishing and loved his family.

He was preceded in death by his father, Joel Garrett and a brother, Ricky Garrett. Curtis was of the Baptist faith.

Surviving Mr. Garrett are his mother, Judy Garrett, one brother, Michael Garrett, niece, Crystal Britt, nephew, Luke Garrett, great nieces and nephews, Desaree, Jasmine, Dominick, Hyatt and Quest, many other relatives and friends also survive.

A memorial service will be held at a later date with interment to follow in the Osborne Cemetery and will be announced. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to help defray expenses in memory of Curtis. Mountain View Funeral Home of Blairsville is in charge of the arrangements.
