Mrs. Patricia Marie Hunt, age 64 of Hiawassee Georgia, passed away peacefully on Sunday May 14, 2017 in her home. She was born November 12, 1952 in Ft. Lauderdale Florida, the daughter of the late Herbert and Ella Louise Thornton. She was married to the late Daniel Hunt. She enjoyed spending time with her kids and grandkids and going to yard sales and flea markets. Mrs. Hunt moved to Hiawassee 18 years ago from Douglasville Georgia. Mrs. Hunt was of the Baptist faith. She had a big heart, always putting others before herself.

Surviving Mrs. Hunt are her three daughters and sons-in-laws, Michelle and David Carroll of Franklin Georgia, Tammy and John Williams also of Franklin Georgia, and Danielle and Josh Parker of Hiawassee Georgia. Also surviving Mrs. Hunt are her seven grandchildren, Alicia Carroll, John Williams Jr., Chelsea Williams, Chris Carroll, Samantha Williams, Jaylen Parker, and Kiley Parker.

Funeral services will be held Sunday May 21, 2017 at 1:00 pm in the Mountain View Funeral Home Chapel. The family will meet with friends from 12:00 to 1:00 at the funeral home on Sunday.
