Arzetta H. Buchanan, age 95 of Mineral Bluff, GA passed away Saturday, September 28, 2019, in Ducktown, TN. Mrs. Buchanan was born June 14, 1924, in Mineral Bluff, GA to the late Everette Henry and the late Beulah Davis Henry. Mrs. Buchanan was a member of Toccoa Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, W.J. Buchanan; brothers, J. P. Henry, Emmett Henry, Oscar Henry, Thomas Henry, and Danny Henry. She was a life long resident of Fannin County and served her community for many years with compassion and caring for others. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include: daughter, Angela Buchanan; sisters, Margie Brown, Faye (James) Dillard, Dorothy Conner, and Jane (Norman) Owens; brother, Alvin (JoAnn) Henry; grandchild, Celeste Lance; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services: Monday, September 30, 2019, at 2:00 pm from the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home in Blue Ridge, GA with the Rev. Jimmy Ritter and Rev. Jo Dan Wilkins officiating. Music: piano by Bob Buchanan and solo by Jimmy Ritter. Interment will follow in Toccoa Baptist Church Cemetery. Pallbearers: Jimmy Henry, Freddy Ballew, Zachary Carver, Nick Goggins, Donald Buchanan, and Danny Ballew.
The family will receive friends at the Henry-Cochran Funeral Home in Blue Ridge, GA, Sunday, September 29, 2019, from 5:00 pm – 8:00 pm.
