Ernest Delano Noblet: Obituary

Mr. Ernest Delano Noblet, age 84, of Hiawassee, Georgia passed away on March 31, 2018 surrounded by his loving family. Ernest was born in Clarkesville, Georgia on March 4, 1934 to the late Andrew Jackson and Della (Kastner) Noblet. Ernest and Claudine married September 5, 1958. Shortly after they married, they continued running “Noblet’s 5&10” where they’ve spent their lifetime befriending and loving on the community.  Ernest was a simple man who would help anyone in need. He attended Tusquittee Church of God in Hayesville, North Carolina. Ernest was a member of the Unicoi Masonic Lodge for a number of years. He also served in the United States Army from 1957 to 1963. He was a devoted husband and a cherished father and grandfather. Mr. Noblet was preceded in death by his brothers, Alvin Noblet and Earl Noblet; sister, Dorothy Moore and sister Betty Nicholson. He is survived by his wife Mrs. Claudine Presley Noblet of Hiawassee, Georgia; son and daughter-in-law, Nathan and Nancy Noblet of Hiawassee, Georgia; grandchildren, Chelsey and Tanner Byers of Hiawassee, Georgia and Jackson and Meredith Noblet of Hiawassee, Georgia; brother, Henry Noblet of Hiawassee, Georgia, brother and sister-in-law, Raymond and Gayle Noblet of Watkinsville, Georgia; brother-in-law, Doug Nicholson of Hiawassee, Georgia; sisters, Muriel Moody of Hiawassee, Georgia, Lea Drane of Hiawassee, Georgia, and Rachael and Rudy Eller of Hiawassee, Georgia; a number of nieces, nephews and friends also survive.

Visitation: April 2, 2018 from 6:00 to 9:00 PM at Banister Funeral Home

Service: April 3, 2018 at 11:00 am from the chapel of Banister Funeral Home with Rev. Curtis Ledford officiating.

Pallbearers: Jackson Noblet, Tanner Byers, Jason Holdaway, Jared Noblet, Nic Noblet, Joey Presley, Dwayne Beck and Wesley Beck

Interment: Following the service at Laurel Hills Memory Gardens Cemetery
