Frances Lefay Frankum Garrett, age 84 of Marble, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at Clay County Care Center. Mrs. Garrett was born June 1, 1933, in Cherokee County to the late John Frankum and the late Josie Garrett Frankum. She was a homemaker, mother grandmother, great-grandmother, and great-great-grandmother. She loved her family, flowers, and cooking; her hair was her pride and joy at one time measuring 48 in long. She was preceded in death by her husband Wesley Garrett.
Survivors include: daughter, Belva Garrett, son, Charles Garrett, son, Jerry Garrett, Brother, Warren Frankum, grandchildren, Robert and Shanna Garrett, Hope Garrett, DeWayne and Ericka Garrett, Candy and Scott Dockery, great-grandchildren, Jessie Garrett, Steven Brendle, Bradley Brendle, Dakota Dockery, Hayden Garrett, great-great-grandchildren, Joselynn Garrett, and Bradley Brendle.
Graveside services: Sunday, March 11, 2018, at 2:00 pm at Mt. Zion Baptist Church on 141.
There will be no visitation at the funeral home.
