Bill Stiles: Obituary

Bill Stiles, age 83 of Murphy, passed away Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at Emory University Hospital. Mr. Stiles was born March 27, 1934, in Murphy, NC to the late John Thomas Stiles and the late Maude Florence Pickelsimer Stiles. He was a member of Bell Hill Baptist Church and had served as a Sunday School Teacher for over 50 years.
His main passion in life was Soul winning; he loved to witness to others about the love of Christ and loved to see names added to the Lambs book of life.
He was preceded in death by brothers, J.B Stiles, C.L. Stiles, Naymon Stiles, Willis “Shorty” Stiles, Sterlon Stiles and sister, Dorothy Mundy.

Survivors include: wife, Eula Mae Stiles, daughter, Kathy (Chris) Seabolt, daughter, Wanda (Shawn) Rice, son, Billy Stiles, Jr., brothers, Hayden (Mary Lou) Stiles, Roger (Margaret) Stiles, sister, Sue (Goldman) Brown, six grandchildren, fourteen great-grandchildren.

Funeral services: Saturday, March 10, 2018, at 2:00 pm at Bell Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Lawrence English and Brother Chris Seabolt officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery. Pallbearers: Dwight Reed, Robin Stiles, Calvin Murphy, Shannon Helton, Donald Padget, Steve Ware, Josh Stewart, and Mark Stewart. Honorary pallbearers: Howard Roberts, and Basil Williamson.

The family will receive friends at the Cochran Funeral Home Friday, March 9, 2018, 6:00 pm – 9:00 pm.
