Mrs. Pauline Young: Obituary

Mrs. Pauline Young, age 86, of Young Harris, GA passed away peacefully on October 28, 2017, at the Union County Nursing Home following an extended illness. Mrs. Young was born on July 24, 1931 in Blairsville, GA, the daughter of the late Arthur Henderson and Inkabo Grant. Pauline liked to spend her time sewing quilts, or outside in her yard gardening. Mrs. Young was of the Baptist Faith. Mrs. Young was preceded in death by her husband Joseph (J.B.) Young.

Surviving Mrs. Young are her daughter, Sherry Freeman of Blairsville, GA, son and daughter-in-law Garry and Dinah Young, of Blairsville, GA, grandchildren Ben Collins, Haley Nottage, Derek Young, Damon Young, Darrin Young, Avery Young, Jesse Young, great grandchildren Vance, Caitlyn, Jonnah, Pat, Bella, Coley, Addie, Hunter, Seth, Mallory, Colby, and Aurora.

A funeral service for Mrs. Young will be held on Tuesday, October 31, 2017 at 1:00PM in the Mountain View Funeral Home Chapel, with the Rev. Dwayne Patterson officiating. The following gentlemen will serve as pallbearers, Damon Young, Derek Young, Ben Collins, Seth Young, Pat Smith, and Vance Collins. The following gentlemen will serve as honorary pallbearers, Jeremy Henderson, Matt Nottage, and Coley Young,James Martin,Sheldon Henderson,Tony Henderson, Larry Henderson and Johnny McCarter. Interment will follow at the Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends and guests on Monday, October 30, 2017 between 6:00PM and 9:00PM at the funeral home.
