Cynthia Sue Lynd, age 56, of Young Harris, GA passed away June 19, 2017 at Northeast Georgia Medical Center in Gainesville, GA. Mrs. Lynd was born December 26, 1960 in Ironton, OH to the late Mr. Ben H. Lynd and Mrs. Patricia (Welch) Lynd. She is survived by: a step-mom, June Lynd of New Smyrna Beach, FL; a son, Benjamin Geiger of Tampa, FL; a son and daughter-in-law, Joshua and Crystal Irick of Young Harris, GA; a grandson, Joshua Irick Jr. of Young Harris, GA; two brothers, James Lynd of Orlando, FL and Benjamin Lynd of Springfield, IL; a niece, Ashley Kay Lynd of Springfield, IL; and a great-niece and three great-nephews.
Cynthia went to Colonial High School in Orlando, FL and then went on to study business at North Georgia Technical College. She volunteered at Healing Hands Community Clinic in Blairsville, GA. She loved her God and her family and friends. Cynthia was loved by many and will be deeply missed.
