Mrs. Joyce England Driskell formerly of Tucker Georgia, passed away peacefully at her home in Hiawassee, Georgia where she and her husband of 64 years, Allan Driskell have resided for the last 35 years. Mrs. Joyce and Allan were faithful members of McConnell Memorial Baptist Church and loved their church family, as well as anyone else who they happen to get aquainted with.
Mrs. Driskell was preceded in death by her parents, Howard Comer England and Carrie Cofer England; son, Clayton Alan Driskell; brother, Ray England; and sister, Jeannie Driskell.
She is survived by husband, Allan; daughter, Becky Wentzel (Barney) of Hiawassee, Ga.; daughter, Laurie Jean Cory (Chris) of Duluth, Ga.; and sister, Dot Whitelaw; 6 grandchildren, 4
great grandchildren, and many nieces and nephews.
A memorial service is scheduled for Saturday March 11, 2017 at 2:00 pm at McConnell Memorial Baptist Church with Rev. Steven Taylor and Rev. Danny Byers officiating. The family will receive friends and aquaintences from 12:00 pm until service time.
Flowers will be accepted, and in lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the charitable organization of your choice.
