Mr. Chester Alexander Parsons: Obituary

Mr. Chester Alexander Parsons, age 62, of Hiawassee, Georgia passed away on Friday, February 3, 2017 at Union General Hospital following an extended illness. Chester was born on October 31, 1954 in Brunswick, Georgia to Ione Quarterman Parsons and the late Seabert Parsons. He was actively attending Christ the King church in Hiawassee.

Chester is survived by his mother, Ione Parsons; daughter, Courtney Parsons of Augusta, Georgia; sons, Jason Parsons of Brunswick, Georgia and Tyler Parsons of Atlanta, Georgia; brother, Rusty Parsons of Hiawassee, Georgia; four grandchildren and a host of friends also survive.

A memorial service will be held on Saturday, February 11, 2017 at 1:00 PM at Christ the King church with Father Don O’Malley officiating. Banister Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
