Mr. Vincent Walter Miller Jr. age 84, passed away December 10, 2016. Mr. Miller was born on April 10, 1932 in Washington, D.C. to the late Vincent Sr. and Vivian (Taylor) Miller. Vincent was a member of the VFW, American Legion, and also a member of Macedonia Baptist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Charlotte Miller of Hiawassee, Georgia; sons, Mark Miller of Zephyrhills, Florida and Matthew Miller of Tampa, Florida; step-daughter, Linda Gause of Blairsville, Georgia; grand-daughter, Alexa Miller and a host of friends also survive.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 14, 2016 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Banister Funeral Home. Services will be held immediately following visitation at 1:00 PM from the chapel at Banister Funeral Home with the Rev. Bradley Thomas officiating. Interment will be at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery following the service. Pallbearers will be Dave McBride, Cliff Bradshaw, Jerry Bradshaw, Doug Kendall, Benny Barrett and Roger Dyer. Music will be provided by Ann Chapman, Rita Bradshaw and Bobby Taylor. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee, Georgia in charge of arrangements.
