Mr. Frank Watson: Obituary

Mr. Frank Watson, age 81, of Hiawassee, Georgia passed away on Friday, October 21, 2016 following an extended illness. Frank was born on July 12, 1935 in Hiawassee, Georgia to the late Newt and Marie (Sutton) Watson. He worked for Delta for 34 years, retiring in 1992 and was a member of the Masonic Lodge. He is survived by his wife, June Williamson Watson of Hiawassee, Georgia; son and daughter-in-law, William and Sandra Watson of Hiawassee, Georgia; step-sons and daughters-in-law, Dennis and Lori Johnson of Bowman, Georgia and Mark and Natalie Johnson of Wilmington, North Carolina; step-daughters and sons-in-law, Lisa and John Sellers of Hiawassee, Georgia, Lynn and Gary Bailey of Bowdon, Georgia and step daughter, Jodi Matakovich of Panama City Beach, Florida; grandsons, Andrew and Johnathan Watson, many friends and family also survive.

Visitation: Saturday, October 22, 2016 at Banister Funeral Home from 5:00 – 7:00 PM

Graveside Service: Sunday, October 23, 2016 at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery at 2:00 PM with Rev. Harold Ledford officiating.

Pallbearers: Cory Lanier, Gary Bailey, John Sullivan, Johnathan and Andrew Watson and John Sellers.
