Mrs. Priscilla Ann Spade: Obituary

Mrs. Priscilla Ann Spade age 87 of Young Harris passed away peacefully on Friday August 19, 2016 in the Union General Hospital following an extended illness. Mrs. Spade was born on Jan. 8, 1929 in McCune, KS., the daughter of the late Leonard Kays and the late Myrtle Hereford Kays. She had made her home in Young Harris for the past seventeen years moving here from Naples, FL. She loved traveling and flying. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. Mrs. Spade was of the Methodist faith.

Surviving Mrs. Spade are one son, James Spade of Young Harris, two grandchildren, Sean and his wife Kimberly Spade of Young Harris, Samantha and her husband Neil Frost of Blairsville, four great grandchildren, Kaitlin and Preslee Edwards, Lucas Frost and Jamison Spade, many other relatives and friends also survive.

A memorial service will be held at a later date. In lieu of flowers if you wish, the family requests that donations may be made to the Salvation Army or to Towns Union Humane Society in Mrs. Spade’s memory. Mountain View Funeral Home of Blairsville is in charge of the arrangements. You may sign the family guest book and send condolences on line at www.mountainviewfuneralhome.com
