Mrs. Wilma Youngblood, age 74, of Young Harris, Georgia, passed away on Saturday, July 30, 2016 surrounded by her beloved family.
Mrs. Youngblood was born October 20, 1941 in Young Harris, Georgia to the late Ralph and Louise Stephens. Wilma served as Deputy Clerk of Towns County for many years and attended Old Union Baptist Church. She was a loving mother, sister, wife, and grandmother.
She is survived in death by her husband, Junior Youngblood of Young Harris, Georgia. Son and daughter-in-law, Scott and Ann Youngblood, of Habersham, Georgia. Son and daughter-in-law, Steve and Cindy Youngblood, of Young Harris, Georgia. Sister Helen Hogsed, Brothers JD & Mike Stephens, of Young Harris, Georgia. A beloved grandmother to Hannah Benedict, and Patrick & Alec Youngblood, of Young Harris, Georgia.
Funeral services were held at Old Union Baptist Church in Young Harris, Georgia, Tuesday August 2, 2016 officiated by Jimmy and Ricky Rogers. Special music by Freda Nicholson. The following gentleman served as pallbearers: Alec Youngblood, Dustin Benedict, Cameron Dayton, Cecil Dye, Danny Haines, and Mark Garrison. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee, Georgia in charge of arrangements.
