Mr. Robert Johnson Sprinkles, age 86, of Hiawassee passed away on Tuesday morning, April 5, 2016 at his home.
He will be warmly remembered by all who knew him, but especially missed by his family: loving wife, Ruth Sprinkles; sons & daughters-in-law, Roy Dean & Nancy Sprinkles and Reggie & Alice Sprinkles; daughter & son-in-law, Kathy & Terry Taylor; and daughter, Gail Callaway. Numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, and great great grandchildren also share in his legacy. Robert was preceded in death by his parents, and 8 siblings: Margaret Rowland, Willie Sprinkles, Tommy Lee Sprinkles, Halen Sprinkles, Elmer Sprinkles, Roy Sprinkles, Floyd Sprinkles, and Louise Chastain.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 pm on Thursday, April 7, 2016 from the Chapel of Cochran Funeral Home with Pastor Harold Ledford and Rev. Bradley Thomas officiating. Music will be presented by the Pinetop Quartet. Interment will follow at Macedonia Baptist Church Cemetery. The following gentlemen have been selected to serve as pallbearers: Jerry Lee Sprinkles, Alex Sprinkles, Adam Sprinkles, Jason Taylor, Joshua Taylor, and Clint Berry. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Wednesday evening from 6 until 9 pm.
