Rebels Best Indians 4-1

The Fannin County High School Rebels traveled to Towns County Monday for tennis action against the Indians.

Fannin left Hiawassee with a 4-1 victory under its belt.

In singles action, Rebel Trevor Neal picked up a 6-2, 6-1 win over Caleb Clark. Bradley Benson secured the only Indians victory of the day, defeating Paul Walker 3-6, 6-3, 6-4. Fannin player Blake Cobb beat Luke Woody 6-1, 6-0.

Doubles matches saw Aaron Walden and Grant Fitts defeat Chayton McClure and Owen Blanchard, 6-2 and 6-1 and the combination of Clayton Carrier and Ben Finley best Luke Ledford and Kendall Bernard 8-3.
