Shelia Green Moore: Obituary

Mrs. Shelia Green Moore, age 55, of Young Harris, Georgia, passed away on Monday, February 22, 2016. She was born on September 27, 1960 in Waynesville, NC to the late Walter Willard and Pauline Ruby (Keener) Green. Survivors include her husband Jerry Moore; step daughters, Leeann Moore and Sara Moore of Hayesville, NC; step sons, Chad Matheson of Hayesville, NC and Derick Myers of South Carolina; sister, Sharon Green of Waynesville, NC; special friend, Elva Rogers; grandchildren, Braiden Martin, Caylee Martin, Adrian Austin, Aliyah Austin, Byron Martin and Colton Martin; a host a friends also survive. Shelia was preceded in death by her brother, Arnold Green. The family received friends at Banister Funeral Home from 6:00 – 8:00PM on Thursday, February 25, 2016 with the funeral service following at 8:00 PM and the Rev. Paul Jones officiating. A graveside service was held on Friday, February 26, 2016 at Keenerville Christian Church Cemetery in Waynesville, NC at 2:00 PM. Banister Funeral Home of Hiawassee, GA in charge of arrangements.
