Quitman Walter Tritt: Obituary

Quitman Walter Tritt, age 91 of Sautee, passed away on Tuesday, October 27, 2015 at his residence.

Mr. Tritt was born on April 24, 1924, in Suches, Georgia, to the late Lonnie and Callie Lunsford Tritt. He was a veteran of the United States Army, having served in WWII and was a member of Harmony Church of God in Suches, Georgia. Mr. Tritt was preceded in death by his brothers, Bradford Tritt, Vaughn Tritt, and William Tritt; sister, Roberta Kidd.

Survivors include his wife, Martha Tritt, Sautee; son, Phillip Tritt, Cleveland; son and daughter-in-law, Joe and Heidi Tritt, Fairburn; daughters and sons-in-law, Janice and David Hutchins, Destin, FL, and Laura and Mike Sprayberry, Newnan; grandsons, Tony Tritt and Braden Tritt; 4 great grandchildren.

Graveside services are scheduled for 11:00 A.M. Saturday, October 31, 2015 at Mt. Pleasant United Methodist Church Cemetery. The Rev. Mike Borchert will officiate.

The family will receive friends on Friday from 6-8 P.M. at the funeral home.
