Towns County Elementary School wants to honor all veterans! Thank you for your service. We have our very own veteran, Ms. Cathy Seis, our dedicated music teacher here at TCES. She began her career in the Air Force in 1977 where she was stationed at Eglin Air Force Base in Florida. She worked as a Command and Control Specialist during this time. During the historical 9-11 time, Ms. Seis was recalled to active duty and served at Hurlburt Field Air Force Base and served in the headquarters of the Special Operations Command Center. Ms. Seis officially retired from the military in 2003 and all along the way she is in her 34th year as a music teacher.
Nick McDonald joined the US Army in 2010 and was stationed at Fort Lewis Army Base in the state of Washington. To this day, Nick is still active in the US Army Georgia National Guard. Nick helps and assists the teachers of TCES with technological needs on a daily basis.
TCES would like to also recognize Mrs. Caroleen Woods for her service in the Air Force. Mrs. Woods was stationed in Minot Air Force Base in North Dakota as well as stationed in Spangdahlem, Germany. Mrs. Woods is instrumental in our TC PTSO and goes above and beyond to help our students and staff.
We can choose to live in a way that honors their sacrifice. Our students know that they should Be Respectful, Be Responsible and Be Safe. We hope you join us in honoring them along with all veterans. Today a
